Panasonic KXTG5632BP Twin Cordless Phone - Page 8 Questions & Answers
Blank screen on my cordless Panasonic house phone
More than likely you have a bad circuit board behind the LCD. The LCD is the display itself. I've seen where someone did a bad job of soldering job, (cold solder joint created by flow soldering), at the factory. It may have passed quality control initially but one good hard bump and the 'cold solder' joint that was created at the company just got 'born.' It happens. Most of the time it's not a problem, but you will run across this every now and then. It looks like you 'then.' If it's still in warranty, take it back and ask for an exchange. If it's just past warranty, take it back anyway! Usually sellers understand and won't have a problem with an exchange.
Understand...It's not a user fixable thing!
How to erase messages on land line Panasonic phone answering machine Model # KX-TG885SK ?
Do you want to erase all messages? Are you looking at the handset, the base or are you calling the KX-TG885SK remotely?
1) At the base, press Erase during playback of a message to delete the current message. To erase all messages from the base, press Erase twice when the phone system is in standby mode (no active calls/incoming calls).
2) From a handset, use the menu to access the Answering Device sub menu and choose play new message or play all messages. (Alternatively, press Menu # 3 2 3 to play new messages or Menu # 3 2 4 to play all messages.) During playback of a message, press * 4 or pause the message. After pausing the message, highlight Erase and press Select. Confirm this. To erase all messages, choose Erase All messages (Menu # 3 2 5) and follow the prompts to confirm (highlight Yes and press Select). You can also press * 5 to erase all messages from the Answering Device sub menu.
3) During a remote call, *4 and * 5 work as above when using the handset.
See pages 70, 71, and 74 in the operating manual. The manual is available on the Add-on Handset page:
https://shop.panasonic.com/cordless-corded-telephones/telephone-handsets/KX-TGFA61B.html . The current link to the manual is

I hope this helps.

User manual KX-TGA244W
The KX-TGA model prefix usually means the handset of a Panasonic cordless phone system. Most of the time to find the manual, you need the model number of the base. The handset model number isn't always listed in the manual or on the product support site. I did find a manual for the KX-TG2431 and KXTG2432 here:
https://panasonic.ca/PCS/OperatingInstructions/KXTG2431-32-OI-Eng.pdf . The handset of this cordless phone system uses the same handset battery as the KX-TGA244W.
I hope this helps.

Panasonic KX-T7433 Voicemail Issues. How do I reset to allow us to turn the voicemail functions back on?
VTR-165 is a transfer key. You said OLD system. You should look at the VM box and post the model after being sure it has a solid green light on it..
Was the phone system ALSO defaulted as there is software at the KSU as well?
Older TVA systems were normally configured to use intercom 165 to manually select the VM.
TVS systems could have been any extention but most installers used the last ports on a card. Like 15-16 or 23-24 and put them in a hunt group (default 165) for access
I hope it isn't a TVS as you will need a PC with Procomm, hyperterminal or Telnet as well as a null modem (and I do not mean a USB conversion) just to be able to access it.
