you need to get the phone fully dried for it to work well again.
Remove the battery and clean it very well. After that, get a phone screw driver, unscrew all the phone screws, remove the phone cover in order to gain access to the phone panel. Gently remove/detach the screen from the phone board.
Get a methylated spirit and a soft tooth brush, dip the tooth brush into the spirit and use the brush to clean the phone board. Wash/brush every part of the board with the spirit.
After that, dry the board under an electric bulb or under sunlight. Allow it to dry very well. Let the board get hot. Then leave the board for 5mins or more to cool.
After that, couple back the phone, fix in the battery and try again. Then phone will definitely power on.

I wonder how you can install SIM card on a Sprint phone. It uses CDMA technology and doesn't support SIM. If you are a sprint customer, call the customer service with the phone's ESN (Electronic Serial Number) in decimal which you can find at the back of the phone. The phone can only be activated if you are a sprint customer and the ESN is clean.

may i know what software you want to download

there is very little the phone can do on the internet and most mobile pages wont load on the phone and i do not think sprint even sells a data plan for the phone. the phone also does not have wifi capabilities, so in short the phone will not go on the internet because it is too old

I would like for you to set up all your uniden phones for the charger jacks. Then please wait several minutes for the phones to gain a suitable charge for TESTING. Before picking up a phone to test it, please unplug all phones for electric power , THIS INCLUDES the charging jacks, answering machine, main unit etc. Wait one minute then plug all devices back in. If your still have issues, please take out the new battery that you purchased and try it on a different uniden phone. If the problem persists, then the battery (NEW) is a bad battery. If the problem does not persist, then you know it is the HANDSET

Just connect your mobile to your computer via usb cable. If anything prompts in mobile screen choose the option something like pen drive mode / mass storage mode . Then you can see an extra drive in your my computer. Open this and it will show you all the files present in your phone memory card. just transfer whatever pictures you want from there to your computer.

Firstly, who is the service provider. Depending on who's network you on, phone the customer care number from the phone. If you dont know the number, google the provider. Some cell providers lock or do not activate your mail box. So you have to phone customer care to have it activated.
Mail boxes are network based services, does not matter what the phone brand is.

The phone is not so likely sending at low volume as receiving at a low volume and transferring the info that way. Your microphone may be either dirty or damaged. Check to see if there is any lint or dirt in the tiny microphone holes, or visible damage due to dropping the phone. Shut the phone off and remove the battery and sim card if accessible. Try vacuuming with a soft brush. Then reassemble and check your volume settings and try a new call

I had a similar scenario with my A920 . I could hear people answering but they could not hear my voice at all. It turned out it was caused by a defect in the circuit board although in my case it was also related to the charging system as well.

just added my experience. no user fix. return phone to provider for replacement.
