You don't. There's no way to do that without paying for it. Sim cards are the direct connect to the company. The company has to allow a sim card to use it's services...You can't "hack" a sim card for free anything.

i think the firmware might have got corrupted ....
this might have happened due to the shutdown of the cell due to low battery or due to the sudden removal of the battery when cell is on ...

just try giving the restore factory settings option(reset) ...
it will ask for the password or the security code give it ...
then your phone will be reseted ...
