Ok.... found this on another forum, tried it and it works! Fixed my problem, which was exactly the same as yours. Unplug usb cable from phone Type *#52828378# into phone and this comes up 1 Trace setting 2 OTA type setting 3 Serial test 4 TFS reset select 3 serial test and this comes up 1 PPP UP 2 Serial download 3 Run TCK Select 2 Serial download The phone will reboot and once its rebooted connect usb cable and pc studio will work.

this is a common problem with the e250. All you have to do it get a s/w upgrade for the phone from the nearest samsung customer service.

| think I have found a solution to the EMS Save problem a lot of us have had ..... When all the messages are shown in PC Studio, Message Manager, go to the drop down option list in the right hand corner of the message manager screen, here you will see a print option (on my laptop o/s is Vista, the option came up to print to .xps. I did this and it printed mostly all of my messages, and I had lots of EMS View on phone. You then go to the print option on the .xps screen and it asks which folder you want to save them to - I called mine Samsung messages. Now all my messages are on my D Drive and not just in PC Studio. WOW how brilliant is that, I have searched for weeks for a solution to this problem without success and it was there all the time.

For samsung SGH-E250 the right setup is:

1: *#4777*8665#, go to GPRS settings
2: Highlight "GPRS Detach" then press select
Once after this setting, EDGE will off when the phone is idle.

YA!!! guys calm down i 2 had this problem and sorted out in few days now follow the steps ok
1.Download Both Jad And Jar Files of the same game and place it in a folder (both files should be placed in a same folder).
2.Download Softick PPP i have provided you the link but remember you must have a bluetooth device or a usb with you here`s the softick ppp link download from here

3.Now Download the uploader from http://www.4shared.com/file/29023658/99133c90/Uploader.html
4.now what you need to do is connect your mobile phone with the Softick PPP firstly activate the PPP by right clicking it and then ACTIVATE it`ll search your mobile phone accept its connection and leave your mobile phone
5.now open the uploader and upload the JAD file of the game and slide up you d900 screen and write this code
# * 5737425#.
6.Now it`ll give you 3 options select PPP UP and Go For USB if you have connected your phone through a USB or Click Bluetooth if you have connected your phone through Bluetooth.
7.It will return back in the same interface where you get three options there you should click on SERIAL DOWNLOAD and your mobile starts installing the game.
8.Now Repeat these steps but donot select again PPP UP TO USB OR BLUETOOTH remove this step and when you`re installing again the same time click SERIAL DOWNLOAD.

Well it certainly is easy but people have made it difficult you don`t need to do much ok
I`ll provide you with easiest steps ever

1.download some games with both formats and put them in the same folder ok both extensions of the files would be like

EXAMPLE:- Driv3r.jad and Driv3r.jar

2.Also download Softick PPP 2.21*** just write it on google you`ll get it
3.Get A Bluetooth Device or Blutooth Dongle and connect it to PC, remember the blutooth icon below the left side of the task bar goes blue....
3.Now Activate Bluetooth on your Samsung SGH-D900 and go back to the main screen and enter the code #*5737425# and you`ll get a new menu open,the headline of that menu would be JAVA SERIAL
and Below that would be 1.PPP UP 2.Serial Download and 3.RUN TCK
4.Now after the softick is installed open it and an icon will appear on the screen on the taskbar below
right-click it and activate it be patient while it would be activating you`ll get a on-screen msg on your mobile that`ll be SERIAL CONNECT WITH DEVICE and you should accept it and then look back on the same menu of JAVA SERIAL then click PPP UP and it`ll take you to two more options just click BLUETOOTH and you`ll be headed back to JAVA SERIAL MENU.
5.Now You Need To Download The SAMSUNG JAVA UPLOADER similarly write it on google and you`ll find it easily now open it and A window will appear go for ADD
a window will open remember it only adds jad files don`t forget to get the jar file for the same prog.
and then add the jad file on the same JAVA MENU after all steps click serial download

GAMES WOULD BE INSTALLED AND ENJOY

Remember just after a game is installed repeat the same step but you would not go for PPP UP just go for serial download and its all done

1. First do a CUSTOM reset: *2767*2878# (star 2767 star 2878 hash)
turn off the phone
2. take out the battery and sim and put wrong network SIM and insert a half of it,
so it won't ask for network password and shows "Insert SIM" message.
Now put the battery ,and switch the phone on .(phone shows "Insert SIM" message.)
3.With out turn off the phone push the sim fully in. At this stage the phone is still asking to "Insert SIM"
4. Make a FULL reset by typing: *2767*3855#(star 2767 star 3855 hash)
5. The phone should reboot working with "wrong" sim inside.
6. Make a Change the NCK password to 8 zeros by typing: *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
(star 7465625 star 638 star 8zeros star 8zeros hash)
7. Now Disable network lock By typing: #7465625*638*00000000#
(hash 7465625 star 638 star 8zeros hash)
Phone is unlocked (check with *#7465625#)
