I had "Memory full" on my SGH-C417 and first had cleaned all text messages - did not help. Next step was to check myMemory status in my Stuff. It shows free memory size and size of graphic data in your memory. I my case, free memory size was 0 and graphic data took all available memory. To resove the issue I went to Graphics in My Stuff and cleaned a lot of empty pictures - SGH may take a picture in your pockect, just because photo button, located on back side of phone, been hit by something, you put in your pocket.

your mike may not be working so go to samsung customer care centre

If you want to unlock your phone put a sim from another company then type *#9998*3323# it will reset your phone. Push exit and then push 7, it will reset again. Put your other sim in and it will say sim lock, type in 00000000 then it should be unlocked. Type in *0141# then the green call batton and it's unlocked to all networks. This code may not work on the older phones and some of the newer phones. If it doesn't work you will have to reset your phone without a sim in it by typing *#2767*2878# or *#9998*3855# (not tested)

The issue is, The phone freezes and it makes your number as not reachable, since the mobile loses the signal and freezes up..

You must have set to divert calls to Voice mail, if not reachable..So immediately after the phone freezing up, your calls are diverted to voice mail..

The only solution is updating the phone firmware, The new firmware must be made to remove this known issues..

Try updating the firmware, would solve your issues.

Hi Friend,
The only solution u can do is as follows,

Initially switch off the mobile and then remove the battery and the sim card also
After 30 Sec u replace all the things in the mobile
Restart the mobile after 10 to 15 sec and then check it out,u wont get the problem again.

If the card is inserted correctly and its not damaged, then the memory card should show up under media manager, you need to put the files onto the memory card not on the phone...

When you first insert the card into the phone, you need to format the card, some phones create specific folders for different things when they format, e,g images, Videos, etc. You may need to do this.

I cant remember if this phone had this option but try it anyway as if it works, it should be faster than using Samsung PC Studio...
Close Samsung PC Studio
Unplug USB out of the Phone and a couple of seconds later plug it back in, see if the phone asks you for Mass Storage mode... If it does select that, after a while the Memory Card should show up on your PC just like a USB memory stick you can drag and drop files to it and its faster than going through Samsung PC Studio :)

Samsung SGH-C417 Keypad will not work

I have had a similar issue with SGH-A707, I have found that taking the device out of discover mode, then removing the battery from the phone to reboot it. once booted, turn on the bluetooth on the phone and put the device into discover mode. Should find it.

the keyboard needs to be replaced or service, so take the phone to a mobile service center to have it fixed.
