Hi, when a phone battery is always to low and it does not stay long to power the phone,You might need to replace the phone battery.

Have you contacted your service provider to ensure your SIM is active? Does you SIM work in other phones?

The charge port on the phone has probably become damaged from normal use. Visually inspect it to see if it is. If it is not, the pins that connect to the circuit board on the inside can break off of the board. They can be soldered back on but it does take some practice since they are very small.
