I've deleted all of my sent, inbox, and draft messages and my phone keeps saying "memory full." It wont let me send or receive text messages at all. I've tried removing the battery and putting it back in, but that still doesn't help and I keep getting the same message. Please let me know of any solutions!!! Thanks!
Go to settings, applications, manage applications, click on an app in the list, click on Force Stop, click on Clear Data, you will receive a warning, proceed anyway. Repeat these steps for each app, then reboot the phone. Worked for me.

I just got a moto Krzr a few weeks ago and the other day it randomly started going to a white screen whenever I did anything with it. I can barely write someone a text without the white screen going on and then going back to the main menu. I tried taking out the battery and putting it back in, and also charging it for a while, but nothing has worked. Help!!!!
i had the same problem for probley a month, if i oppened it quick or the phone had been on for a while, i would open it and the screen would turn half white and normal on top, or it would freeze. if you hold it 3/4 open, it should work, or thats what it did for me

Just bought a new Motorola Krzr K1 and was experiencing blank screens or white screens. The battery is fully charged. Now the screen is totally blank and will not come back on. The keypad does light up. I have tried taking the battery out and putting it back in to no avail. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
I have a Krzr.
I got the piece of junk in December.
like 3 or 4 weeks after i got it i started havin problems with it.
id be talkin on it or textin someone and the screen wld go white and it wld freeze up and cut me off if i was talkin or id have to start my text all over again if i was textin.
it did it like every ten minutes.
so i sent it back to the people and since my 30 days or whatever was up they wldnt give me a new one and i had to get it sent off to be fixed.
so i had an UGLY loaner phone for like 2 months.
then i finally got my phone back.
a few months later my phone charger started to not work right.
so my boyfriend gave me one and i had it for like 3 months and it did the same thing.
so i had to buy a new one.
but i didnt have any money at the time or somethin so i had to wait a few weeks and use the messed up one.
and that messed up my darn battery.
by the time i got a new charger my battery wld only last like 2 hours textin and like 10 minutes talkin when it had been on charge ALL NIGHT.
so then my great friend dustin gave me the battery out of his old phone.
and it works fine.
and that was like a week or two ago. (july 3, 2008)
well ...
last night i was talkin to my boyfriend and i went to look to see how many battery bars i had and the screen was just completely white.
and it WONT go away.
ive took the battery out and left it out all night long.
and ive just turned it off for LONG periods of time.
but its still there.
all i can do is call people IF I KNOW THEIR NUMBERS, but i cant get any texts or anything cause the screen is just PLAIN WHITE.
it doesnt even get the "hellomoto" screen when you turn it on.
as soon as the phone is turned on it goes straight to being white.
you can change the ringer from loud to vibrate to silent. but if its on loud you can hear it if someone calls or somethin. vibrate only works.
the outside screen is just plain black.
i dont know if US Cellular will fix my phone again or not.
SO WHAT DO I DO ??
(sorry i have typed so much)
the white screen is because the 'flex' is broken. u need to change it. the 'flex' is a part that connects the upper part ( screen) and the lower part (keypad) of the cellphone. the flex is a common problem with flipflop phones. i dont know if u can get it in your country, but we have lots here. it costs around $14-15 including labor.
i was able to solve the white screen problem, but one of the 2 problems w this cell still exists. Whenever i close the flipflop, "memory card removed' appears, and it keeps blinking. Or when i charge my cell, this msg also appears. this also drains my batt. If i reinsert my memory card, it solves the problem, but whenver i charge my cell, it appears again. So its kind of a hassle to always open the back of the cell to reinsert the memory card, so what i do is , i never close the flipflop. Anyone has the same problem?

Hello, I am experiencing problems trying to transfer files from my K1 to my PC or vice versa, it kept telling me that unable to communicate to my PC, and there was no other indication that something is wrong. Please kindly give some advice.
I found the solution, See by default when you plug in your phone.
Under the Settings/Connection/USB Settings, It is set to Data Connection, All you have to do is go Change, and select memory card. The computer then reads it as a mass storage device. Problem Sol-ved. =]

how do i master reset motorola k1m if i forgot my pass code
Please remember after you finish all of this, you NEED to reboot your phone for everything to take effect. And only do this with a K1m, not a K1.
Master reset/clear is not in testmode on K1m. You need to either use software such as radiocomm etc or you can do it from opcode screen.
Perform at your own risk!!! This will delete everything (contacts, pics, etc...), not just contacts!
Goto opcode screen:
Enter: CLR, 0, 4, 8, 2, 6, 3, * (Note: Must be done quickly.)
From the opcode screen:
Enter 18* and click center radial button on phone. Then enter 0 and click on center radial button.
-wait and it will say success after a short time.
Enter 18* and click center radial button on phone. Then enter 1 and click on center radial button.
-wait and it will say success after a short time.
Exit out. Contacts, Pix & Flix, Called #’s, etc should all be deleted…
Note:
18* enter, 0 enter – does master reset.
18* enter, 1 enter – does master clear.
WARNING: There are other #’s that can be entered…but I think you can really BREAK/BRICK your phone in there quite easily…
Performing master reset/clear using software like radiocomm is proven and works well, but if you do not have the software and want to wipe phone before selling, returning, etc… then…

Phone is overloaded and won't do anything. Does anyone know how to do a master reset?
Thanks
all you have to do is go to your settings, there you will scroll down to security, it will prompt you to enter in a security code...this code is the last 4 digits of your cell phone number, after that your in! and you can go to master reset and it will reset everything!! good luck!

I HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH MY PHONE. THE BATTERY DIES THE SAME DAY AND SOMETIMES IT READS UNAUTHORIZED CHARGER. ALSO MY PHONE FREEZES ALOT. AFTER HAVING MY PHONE FOR 1MONTH AND 1 WEEK I TOOK IT BACK TO VERIZON IT WAS TO LATE TO EXCHANGE IT SO THEY SAID THEY WOULD FIX IT. THEY TOLD ME THAT FOR SOME REASON THAT MY PHONE HAD OLD SOFTWARE IN IT AND THEY UPDATED MY SOFTWARE SO EVERYTHING SHOULD BE FINE. DONT KNOW WHY THERE WOULD BE OLD SOFTWARE WHEN I GOT THE PHONE RIGHT WHEN IT CAME OUT?? TELL THIS DAY 4 MONTHS LATER I AM STILL HAVING THE SAME EXACT PROBLEMS. I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO?? ITS A PAIN TO KEEP ON GOING BACK TO THE VERIZON STORE AL THE TIME WHEN THEY CANT FIX IT. I FEEL LIKE I AM STUCK WITH THIS PHONE FOR ANOTHER 1 AND 8 MONTHS. I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE JUST EXCHANGED IT FOR A TOTAL DIFFERNT PHONE SINCE I PAID $150.00 PLUS A 2 YEAR CONTRACT WITH IT BUT THEY SAID I MISSED RETURNING IT BY 1 WEEK. THANKS LISA

Here's a suggested fix. It worked on my K1m. Maybe it will work on yours.
First off, get the latest version of Motorola Software Update.
Then, put the phone in bootloader mode by pressing and holding the * and # buttons while the phone is off and then turn it on while you remain holding the * and # buttons. If the bootloader starts, you'll see a motorola logo on a blue background.
Once you have that screen, plug the phone into your PC with the usb cable, open and run Motorola Software Update.
It should run through the update process and fix the problem.
Good luck!
