go to your main menu, go to settings. go to displays. scroll down to "short cut bin" snd make sure it is turned on. a faded arrow will now appear on the right side of your display screen. drag the icon you want to get rid of to the arrow which will turn into a trash can.

Hello pop17420 . You can do a reset that is l;ocated in the security section of your choclate. Here you have to be careful there are two resets on the lg. You don't wan to do the one that saids REstore to PHONE . To get the PUK code please contact your service provider.They wil give you the PUK code by checking weather the mobile is yours, So please give correct information so as to get the PUK code

Do you still have the LG pc Studio software (the cd that came with your handset)? If so, install the software and connect the phone to the computer via the usb cable. You'll be able to sync your phone with the computer through the Software.

If you don't have the lg pc studio, I would recommend you to use a memory card reader, you can use Sd Memory card reader (but you'll need the memory card adapter of your phone's memory card). Simply remove the memory card from your phone, insert it ontothe memory card slot of the card reader after the card is attached to the adapter. Once it's done, open "My Computer" of your computer, there you'll see the new folder/drive of as Removable Drive or similar additional drives. Open the newly installed drive and check the contents, then locate image/photo folder, copy the pictures and save/paste them on your computer's hard drive (anywhere in the computer, could be My documents or D drive etc..)

You can also try without any software or without any adapter, simply connect the usb cable to the phone and the other end to the computer, look on the phone screen, you'll see few options like "Phone mode" or "Mass storage" or "Data.." or "Storage.. ", select "mass storage" or data or storage and check your my computer folder, it's should show up there. Open the folders and locate the pictures, copy and paste them on your computer.

there is no free solution to unlock this phone

1. Put a micro SD card into your phone. (Make sure it's blank)
2. Format the card from your phone. To do this go into "Menu//Settings & Tools//Memory//Card Memory" then click on "Options" that should open the format screen. Enter your security code (usually the last four digits of your cell #) and format the card.
3. Exit all menu screens by pressing the "End" button and remove your card.
4. Insert your card back into your PC. It should recognize the card and open a "Removable Disk" window. (if not, manually open this window by clicking on "Start//My Computer//drive E: or F:" , they might vary depending on your computer set-up.
5. You should see a folder named "my_music". That's where you are going to drag your music files into.
6. DO NOT open any media player. Just find the location of your music FILES. Usually if you click on "Start//My Music" your music FILES will be stored there.
7. Simply drag and drop music FILES into the folder that I listed on #5. DO NOT drag an albulm. It won't work. Just the music file.

Hi, the problem you are having is with the settings that are stored on your phone, the chances are these have never been setup correctly and you usually get this problem when you change the sim card in the phone to another sim or another network.

now all you need to do to solve this problem is call your service provider and tell them the make and model of phone you have got then ask them to send you the latest mms and wap settings.

your service provider wont charge you anything for doing this and they will send you the settings via text message this will then update your phone to the latest settings and you will be able to use the phone as you want to then.

you can sometimes send the settings to the phone yourself via your service providers web site, but not all service providers offer this service so you would have to check.

the quickest and easiest way would be to give them a call and ask them to send you the latest settings. they will do this for free so just give them a call and your phone will be then set up correctly.
