Harmony 1000 will not un freeze after reboot,

Look for a little tiny hole that resets it, usually a paper clip does it.

When i callobrate the touch

Hi. This sounds like an error in the remote's Operating System. Try connecting it to your computer and updating the firmware. To do this, click "Downloads" in the Harmony software application and then click "Firmware." This will update the firmware (operating system) of your remote, and solve any software issues.

Try pressing the reset button, or holding the power button until it turns off. If that doesn't work take out the batteries and wait then put them back in.

Battery will not charge. One of the contact in

Hello,

thanks for your additional information. This really helped to detect quickly where the fault was coming from.

Its very obvious that the fault is from the battery of the unit. The battery cell is weak such that it cannot be revived by charging.

To solve the problem, I would suggest that you look forward to getting a brand new battery. Once this is done, the unit will charge the new battery without any problem.

The battery presently in the unit is bad and it cannot hold charge. So do a battery replacement and problem would be solved.

Good luck.

Harmony 1000 will not keep

Use a multimeter to chack the charging cradle. volts must be within half volt from specifications.

If the newly tested battery charges in full , then the battery is not the problem. More likely the battery draining problem is due to a contact ccausing a parasitic drain inside the unit.

1. Remove the battery, press and hold the 'OFF' button, and re-insert the battery. The screen will display 'Safe Mode!', or the 'Activities' button will be lit.

2. Connect your remote to the computer.

If the screen is still blank after you complete these steps, then it is a hardware issue and you should contact Logitech's wonderful support team, given that the remote is still under warranty.

My harmony 520 simply stopped working.

Have you tried resetting your Logitech Harmony 520 remote by updating your remote's firmware? Firmware replacement fixes several Harmony problems.

To upgrade or reapply the firmware on your Harmony remote:
  1. Launch the Harmony remote software and log into your account.
  2. Click on the Downloads button at the top-right corner of your screen.
  3. Click on the Firmware button. Follow the onscreen instructions to upgrade the firmware on your Harmony remote.
  4. Once the firmware upgrade is complete, click on the Update Remote button.
I hope that helps.

Logitech harmony 1000i remote

If uprating the firmware has not fixed it, then it would seem to be a hardware failure. Is the remote still in warranty? If so, you can call Logitech to get it replaced.

I have a Harmony 1000 remote and it will not work

Hi! You should try to update the firmware in safe mode:

1. Remove the battery, press and hold the 'OFF' button, and re-insert the battery. The screen will display 'Safe Mode!', or the 'Activities' button will be lit.
2. Connect your remote to the computer.

3. Launch the Harmony Remote Software, and log in.

4. Click "Downloads" at the top and click "Firmware".

5. The remote will go through the firmware update.

6. Select "Yes", and click NEXT to update the remote.

If it does not go into safe mode, or the firware update will not complete then it's probably a hardware issue. If you're in warranty you can call Logitech for a replacement.
