I had the same problem and i fixed it by installng a small piece of tape on battery pulling tension on the connector; after I added this I've had very few problems with restarting.

Go to settings, connection, USB Mode and change to Mass storage. Connect the phone and a new drive will appear on My Computer. That's the Phone's memory card. Copy your music to \mobile\audio.

I suggest you to update the firmware from the authorized Motorola service centre.As they are very experienced with it they will do it correctly.Sometimes we do it wrongly and we get errors which may make the phone useless

I got same problem while i purchased and unlocked online, then I figured this site, they were able to help me with the unlock code, and now my v3 is unlocked.

There can be many ways to Unlock your phone. As far as i know unlocking by codes is the simple and safe way. I will suggest the website http://www.unlock-zone.com/ which is doing good service and they were recommended highly in the cell phone forums.
I used them to unlock my cell phone. contacted them and within 30 mins i had my unlock code and my phone was unlocked.

Hi, when a phone does not charge, possible cause forphone not charging is,

: The charger,
and the charging port.

The charger might cause phone not to charge if it is damaged.You can test the charger with another phone if it will charge to confirm if the charger is working.

The charging port can also make phone not to charge, it's located at the low end of the phone where the charger is inserted in the phone.

You can check both to confirm which is faulty.
