I can't log in cause
There is a hole behind your wireless access point that has a reset button inside of it, push it with a pen or something similar that can fit into the hole and hold it in there for a few seconds. The access point will now reset default configuration, and you will be able to set the access point up from scratch.

Cannot remember my wep number
You have to look in the routers set-up utility to find it
Open INTERNET EXPLORER and. In the URL address field, enter the IP address for your wireless router ( the DEFAULT GATEWAY. This information should be contained in your router's manual. If you cannot find it, enter "198.168.1.1" as the address. This is usually the default IP address for most routers.do not type "www" just the number ( or check in IPCONFIG)
Enter the username and password for your router. This should also be supplied in the router's manual. If you don't have this information, go to routerpasswords.com and find the brand and model of your router. This site lists the default login information for most wireless routers you can try "ADMIN" or "GUEST" for user name and "PASSWORD" or "1234" or none at all for passsword.
You should now be able to see your wireless router settings. You can configure your network ports, as well as SSID (wireless network name) and passwords aka WEP key, WPA key, passphrase etc.

Slow internet download speed from my edimax ew 7206 access point
You dont say what internet access technology you are using - DSL, Cable Modem, satellite, etc.
It is possible that your aggregate speed is being throttled by excessive traffic somewhere ELSE in the network and it may have nothing to do with the link from you access point. When you reset it, it may attempt to operate at the maximum speed only to be throttled by some other choke point in the network.
When you reconnect and get the 4-5 speed, how long does it last? Can you actually see the difference in performance? Most people cant tell the difference unless they are downloading large files.

Lost contact between PCs connected via AP
Set all the PC's to have a manual IP rather then using the DHCP from the router.
Also set the Gateway and Preferred DNS on the network cards to the routers IP (IE 192.168.0.1)
