If the device is being powered on, has a full battery, but is still not responding, then it is likely that the device's firmware has gotten corrupt and you will nee to reflash the firmware.

Turning the player on
1. Check the polarity of the battery plus (+) and minus (-), matching the indication in the battery compartiment
2. Switching the player on viewing next image, moving switch 2 towards the USB connector until the display shows up.


When the player doesn't respond, the firmware could be corrupted.
Run or Download first and run later, the Pearl firmware version 2.0 with next link from the support page or with the direct link:

If you cannot get it to unlock, you can try reflashing the firmware. Just make sure that any important media on your player is backed up in case the firmware reinstall erases it.

You don't need the software, you can just open the corresponding drive letter in Windows Explorer (just go to My Computer and find the device).

Depending on your computer Operating System, you may need to upgrade your media player (Windows). That should include the drivers for the mp3 player.

you have to push syncrize

hold down the play pause button on the mp3 player on the song you want to add

May be the battery is weak.

Also check if it has not yet contacted virus, virus might make it malfunction.

Have you tired formatting it? Sometimes Mp3 player contacts virus while putting them in a system that has virus. So maybe you should try to scan it because the file inside might have have virus and maybe that's why its misbehaing. Virus also sometimes occupies space on a drive.

try formatting it but when the format window pops up (for me this worked anyway) make sure that the file system is set to FAT (default), its how i did it and i had the same problem now i'm listning to my music :]

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visable.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will hightlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.

That is the most amount of songs the player can hold with the songs you put on there in a certain format. Check the memory of the device and see if it is full.

try checking their formats because some mp3s only play songs that are .mp3 formatted

format the player, copy mp3s back over from pc

just try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilitys from the manufacturers website this will format and reload the player

better formatt and reload...ur problem will be fixed
