The only way that you can check whether it's a bad sound card or simply a bad set of speakers would be to connect an external speaker on your computer. If the sounds work properly with external speakers then it's just an issue with the internal speakers on your computer. You can then have it fixed.

most likely the operating system of your computer is already corrupted. you need to run the recovery on the computer. if you have the recovery discs with you, simply put in the disc and boot to cd. included in the recovery disc are the drivers that you need for your computer to work. and that includes the video graphics driver. you can also visit support.toshiba.com for the video graphics driver.

I think the problem is the driver of your webcam. maybe there's already an update on it that you missed to intall. Try to uninstall it and reinstall and seek for an update.

That is normal, you need to reinstall drivers after installing the system from a generic Windows CD.

You may need also to reinstall network, video, modem, and pad drivers if you want to achieve full functionality.

There's a driver problem with your wifi adapter. You need to update it. Download the updated driver from the manufacturer's website. Uninstall first the driver then reinstall it using the downloaded driver

Unfortunatley Windows XP Drivers For the Toshiba P205-S6287 Are Not Made , if you are aware of the Ethernet Controller model and the Display Driver Model it may be possible to locate them but after searching and Talking to Toshiba They arn't made for that Notebook

Well, for one thing, your system is faster then mine. AMD Athlon X2 4000+ 2.10 GHz, 2GB, BIOSTAR A770 A2+ 160GB SATA. Anyway, what sata port did you install these DVD-Burners to. I know it shouldn't matter, but humor me for a minute. I have mine on the last two normally. Seems to work fine. Try it and see.

LED light for NumLock should go out
