Sounds like the driver is misbehaving. Try downloading the latest driver from Belkin and reinstalling.

You cannot use this wireless adapter in any blueray player, because the drivers which comes along with that adapter cannot be installed in any gaming devices, it can be installed only in computers which has the Operating stytem installed.

Belkin N1 wireless usb 2.0 network adaptoe does not support windows 7.....hpoefully the drivers for windows 7 are to be released soon....

if you use mozilla go to tools, then options then security then saved passwords click show passwords.

WEP or WPA are the types of wireless security. If your wireless network is secured then there will be a password on the network that is called as wireless network key or passphrase ( WEP or WPA key ). PIN number is different than WEP or WPA.
To check the wireless network key ( WEP / WPA) you will need to access the router settings page.
On that page , you will find all the settings of the router.

Either call Belkin or your ISP or hard reset the router and then configure your network again.

are you speaking about the wireless network key . The password for the wireless network will depend upon the router. to change the wireless network pasword , you will need to change the settings of the router.

Open the set up page of the router and change the wireless network password.

Uninstall the previously installed drivers from add or remove programs in control panel.
Check the part # or model # on the box or on the device. It will start with "F5D or F6D...."
Go online and go to "www.belkin.com/support"
On this support site, on the tp right corner, you 'll have "search by keyword" in a blue small rectangle box.
Type the model or part # here in this search box and search
You ll get a page with search results and mostly the 1st search result would be Drivers. Click on that link.
Now, you may see lot of versions for the same model #
Check for ver # or v# or version # on the box on or near the bar code.
After getting the version number, check for the OS compatibility. See if your Windows is there in the list corresponding to your version. If yes, download, else get the product replaced.

If you download, transfer the downloaded file on the computer which needs the drivers using a flash drive or so.
Unplug the adapter, and run the downloaded file. This would surely work.

You can always reset the router to factory default settings. Keep in mind you WILL LOSE any changes you have made (whether it be wireless configurations, port forwarding settings, etc). But, if that doesn't matter to you, resetting it will allow you to start from scratch. You must know what your Internet settings should be: whether dynamic IP, static IP, or PPPoE so you can get back online.

However, if your question is "What is the wireless networking (WPA) passphrase?" you can change that if you log into your router and adjust the wireless settings. You would need to do this from a machine that is already has connectivity or hard wire the laptop to the router. To do this type 192.168.2.1 into the address bar in Internet Explorer of a connected machine. If you have never adjusted this, the password should be blank and you can just proceed.

Navigate over to wireless settings and the security setting and change the passphrase to whatever you want. If there were any wireless computers working on the network previously then you will need to update the passphrase on them to reconnect.

To actually reset the router, there should be a small pinhole button labeled "reset" which you will need to depress for at least 30 seconds, probably more.

make sure you've got the write key or if that will not work try manually adding the network using the adapter's utility.

if unable to install then go to the URL www.belkin.com/support
in this site click on network adapter
it will ask u for the model number and version of the adapter
then download the right version of ur adapter or else it wont work

the work of a belkin adapter is to receive the wireless signal in and around the adapter when pluged into computer
if ur able to see the wireless network then ur adapter is working fine
check the ip as
start>control panel>network connection>rite click on wireless network>click properties>choose internet protocol tcp/ip (highlight it and click on properties) then "obtain ip address has to be checked"

then cllick OK and try going online --- u must access the internet

The WEP Key will be in the router not in the adapter
If you are not sure about the WEp key then contact your router vendor
