Kenmore Side By Side- Water Dispensed from door not cold
That is not a complete model# so it is hard to know exactly what you have but the old fridges (kenmore and others) had a pretty straight shot from the water holding tank to the tube that shot water in your glass so it was typically colder.
The newer ones have extra plumbing for filters along with tiny holding tanks. Most manufactures have gone out of their way to make the tanks not freeze but in doing so have made the water more "cool" instead of "cold".
It is not in the way you set it but more of the way things have become. Please give a complete model# (from inside the unit on the sticker and not off the owners manual) if you need more assistance.

Refrigerator need to be program
The temperatures are set when it leaves the factory (0 Deg F Freezer & 38 Deg F Fridge) and it should be left for 24 hours after installation before putting any food inside to allow it reach these temperatures.
Once the unit has been connected for 24 hours then the temperature can be changed by 1 Deg at a time but should be left again for 24 hours between each change to allow the temperature to stabilize.
The only thing I can sugest you try if you've already got food n it is to activate the Fast Cool which will run for 2 Hours.

Our refrigerator keeps shutting off, about once
If this model has a mechanical cold control (one with a knob) then I suspect it is shutting off at temp but not coming back on when it should . Try tapping the control with the handle of a butter knife gently while off . If it immediately starts then I would replace the control.

I have a whirlpool gold
most all models only have a 1 year warranty,, unless you bought the extended warranty,,, anyway the issue could be in the cord or the most likely issue is the main board in the back,, most are on the back with a cover over them

We have a in door
Hi
Check the back wall or floor of the freezer section for frost. Check the freezer or evaporator fan to see if it is running. Check the condenser coils under the unit for blockage from dust. Check the condenser fan to see if it is running. If you have frost in the freezer there is a problem with the defrost system and the freezer will start to warm eventually as well as the fresh food section. If that is the problem you can check the defrost terminator, defrost heater/s, and the defrost timer or adaptive defrost control If used on your unit or the main control board if so equipped. These things usually require dismantling the freezer and other areas of the refrigerator to be checked. You could defrost the freezer by disconnecting the power to the refrigerator and letting it sit for at least 24 hours with the doors open to allow the frost to melt completely but it will build up again in 1-2 weeks and start the warming up again.
Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

My refrigeraer has the freezer
There should be a fan that blows air from the freezer compartment to the refrigerator side. Check to see if you can hear the fan or feel air coming from the vent. Also if the defrost is not working properly ice formation can block the air flow on some models. Also make sure the vent between the 2 compartments isn't blocked.

My coils are freezing up
Has frost covered the fan blades so they can not turn.
Maybe you need to pull the plug and give it a good defrosting .
Then once all signs of frost and water have been mopped up
plug it back in and be sure you STILL have a problem.
Be sure the fan runs to blow air over the coils .
If it frosts up again ..trouble shoot the defroster system.
But new board may have fixed this if problem was on the old board .
Are the seals around the door damaged allowing moist air into the freezer secton?

Freezer cold but not fridge
what cause this problem is no air flow from the freezer ( where all the cold comes from ) generaly the evap coil gets inpacted with ice and blocks the air. this is caused by serveral things ! defrost heater failure / 2 defrost terminator / 3 aditive defrost control .. so if ice can be seen in the back of freezer you have this problem. and the freezer will also get warmer as the problem gets worse . you will need to defrost it to get to the heater & terminator which i would replace . then if problem comes back then replace the A D C .. mm hope this helps .. feed back pls .. mm
