Remove the battery from the mother board.
Jumper the CMOS to discharge it. You may
want to check you Mother Board manual, to
see which jumper it is. Some require you to
turn the Mother Board BACK ON for two seconds. (It will NOT come up, just will
discharge the CMOS and the battery will NOT
be there to replace the energy, so everything
is GONE.
You will know if you have done it right, when
you boot up again, the BIOS will NOT recognize the hard disk (need to set it up
again), the date will be wrong (set it up again also) and the floppy drive will not
be recognized (new setup).
But then try your password. It should let
you right in then.
Let me know if it works.
Best Regards,
PS Make sure you have the right mother
board jumpers to discharge the CMOS, YOU
CAN DO DAMAGE ALSO, if they are not the
right ones.
