Every time i try to

OS X mail can be quite sluggish at times. I know it sounds stupid, but have you tried just leaving it for a while? What does the activity monitor/loading bar in the bottom left show?
I have never had problems with this, but if I did, I would use a service like Dropbox or YouSendIt to share such large files.
Hope that helped!

I have Imac os. I find that some of the Icons

Which icons are disappearing and reappearing? If you're talking about the Dock (The quick-launch and management area at the bottom of the screen by default), that may have been set to hide it's self, only showing when the mouse is at the very bottom of the screen.
Other icons that come and go are ones that represent volumes such as external hard drives, memory sticks, network places, CDs/DVDs. What icons are being problematic?
Hope that helped, please clarify problems if not!
Oh and by the way - iMac is just that particular type of computer. The Operating System is known as Mac OS. Knowing this will make getting help easier in the future :)

Error code ox8002006D on my mac dvd burner?

This is an error code for the DVD burner. The first step is to try burning at a slower speed, maybe even down as far as 1x. If that does not work, try reinstalling the driver or using a different burning application, such as Toast 10 or Toast Titanium. If those solutions do not work, you may have to get a new drive.

Good luck!

My imac g5 wont turn on at all! what can i do?

First, you should make sure you you have power to the iMac. Next if you checked you don't have power the iMac and you do, you could bring it to an Apple Store near you so they can diagnose it. Note, " I pretty sure they could diagnose it." Then if they know what the problem is, you could buy the parts needed from sites that have them and replace the faulty parts. You might be able to find how to replace the parts on www.iFixit.com. If this isn't what you are looking for you should probably clarify your qustion because the question has tons of possibilities. Hopefully this can help!!!!
Note: The Apple Store people might be able to fix the iMac for a price.

Check for a failing hard drive

Trying booting from the Mac OS X install disc.

insert the Mac OS X install disc.

press the start button, while holding down the "C" key on the keyboard

Once you are running from the disc. go to Disk Utilities select the hard drive click the "repair permissions" button at the bottom.

If you get any red errors listed or it doesn't seem to finish repairing the permissions you have a failing hard drive and it will need to be replaced.

The vertical lines is one of two thing a failing LCD module of a failing video card.

Here is how to check which one it is.

connect an external display to it.

if the lines show on the external display is a video card. Unfortunately the video card is attached the logic board and the whole logic board will need to be replaced.

If the lines don't show up on the external display the LCD module will need to be replaced.

I have a 17" imac g5 that will no power up. no

Check for blown capacitors on the logic board and power supply. If you have signs of blown capacitors you will have to replace logic board or power supply.
The trick is getting the computer open. Stick a credit card in the back vent at the top of the display. Their are two tabs one and each side of the vent push forward unscrew the screws at the bottom. sit it up facing you and pull the top to you. be careful of the isight cable at the top. you will need to unscrew the LDC from the housing be careful of connected cables and check under for the blown caps.

These version on iMac has a known issue with the capacitors (as you might know) when replacing the capacitors you will need to replace ALL capacitors on the logic board AND power supply.
After doing that there is no guarantee that it will fix the problem. You might have fixed one, but that one failed capacitor might have caused other things to fail. I would cut your loss and recycle it.

I have one blue and

First you need to find out if the problem is with the display or with the video card. If you connect an external display to the iMac and see the same lines on the external display the problem will be with the video card, which is attached to the logic board. So the logic board will needed to be replaced.
If the lines don't show up on the external display. The problem is with the internal display module, which will need to be replaced.

Finder - question mark alternating

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 13.0px Arial} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 13.0px Arial; min-height: 15.0px}

The flashing question mark indicates that there is a problem with the operating system or hard drive. Try to boot from the Mac OS X install disc by holding down "C" on the keyboard at startup.

If the computer boots normally from the Mac OS X install disc. Go to the Disk Utility from the disc. try to Repair Permissions on the hard drive. If after a while it seemed to work then is it time to reinstall the operating system. If it fails to repair permissions and gives you a bunch of red errors its time to replace the hard drive.

This usually happens due to bad media or the wrong media type. Are you trying to burn a CD/DVD? If so have you tried another brand or another disc? I would also try and burning the disc at a slower speed, try the slowest speed possible and see if you still get the error message.

I have a iMac G5

I am assuming your imac is not intel based? The problem you have is that bodymedia only supply mac drivers for intel based systems. If your system is not intel based then you cannot use their software. You need to contact them to see if they will release a compatible software to you.

Hopefully they will have a friendly inhouse developer who has an app they can send you, I'm sure this will have some up previously for them.

Don't know much about net roadrunner but what I would suggest is connect it up using an ethernet cable then go to system preferences and then Network. In the left hand column select Built-in Ethernet and configure with DHCP and then click on apply. If this does not work you will need to contact your ISP for the appropriate IP Address, Subnet Mark, Router etc. Hope this helps.
