Hello.

Your unit only supports operating system: Windows 2000/XP/VISTA. Try installing it in compatibility mode for those OS. Uninstall it first then, insert the CD that came with it. Open the CD location, right click on the installer (Usually setup.exe) and then click properties. Click on the "Compatibility" tab. Put a check mark on "Run this program incompatibilty mode for:" then from the drop down menu, choose any from Windows 2000/XP/VISTA.

make sure all leads that are attached to your cd/dvd floppy drives have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they are probably old and faulty ? Click start control panel administrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll down cd-dvd rom drives you might see a yellow question mark ? right click you will have options to update driver,roll back driver,or select properties general troubleshoot, select driver click to reinstall drivers click update driver or uninstall then reinstall if this does not fix the problem it might be a registry problem if you cant see your disk drive in windows explorer Close all open programs

Seems like your driver aint present for your current version of windows. Please make sure on the mouses website that there aint a driver for it, if there is, download it and it should work.

Wireless mice devices are very cheap these days. For the effort and hassle you'll go through trying to find a usb dongle to work with that one mouse, Go buy a new one. You can find them for ten bucks.. But I'd go with a twenty dollar one to last longer and feel better in hand.

Try a USB mouse and see if you can get it to work, if that works then you will most likely need to replace the touchpad on your laptop.

Hi Friend, As you have mentioned that you are not able to see the Web cam on the system. I would like you to please try and check if the drivers for the webcam are installed on the system, if, the drivers are not there then you might have received the webcam disc at the time of buying the system. So, run the disc and install the drivers for the same
Also I would like to tell you to please check if you get any error messages while opening the web cam application

When I typed AWE01us1 chill hub in my search engine I came up with Targus as the manufacturer of the chill hup not the laptop. Before buying products I would read customer rates and comments on the products. My public library has a free link to consumer reports, or Amazon.com has product ratings.

I'm also getting mixed info regarding the mouse, is the mouse wireless, stopped working, and you somehow overrode the wireless with a USB cable and that stopped working. I'm assuming the mouse worked fine before the installation of the chill hub. If you read the reviews on Amazon, I'm seeing other types of USB problems. Try returning the chill hub and purchasing another brand. You may have to call customer support for the laptop. Let me know if this was helpful.
