Whirlpool 25.6 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with In-Door-Ice Dispensing System - Page 5 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Frigidare Refrigerator makes buzzing noise and won't get cold
That sadly is not enough information to answer this question.
However, if you open the doors does the noise go away?
If you chose the door after, does it come back?
If it does NOT come back after you open and close the door.
Then we have ruled out the evaporator fan.
If it does, the evaporator fan is bad and will require being replaced. That is the first place to start however, there are also other options in the wide world of things that break. So, if you can please try that smiple test first.
Water dispenser only drip water
If you have a inline filter on its about stop up need to replace it. If you don't have one then the filter on water valve is stopping up. You need to turn water off going to ref. and take water line off and clean out filter inside water valve then put it back and it should work fine after.
How do I get refrigerator to run
Board is probably shot again Should be able to return board for free for a new one Then it sounds like the board is shorting out probably due to poor ground wire
Refrig willnot runat all
Do all the test you can on your fridge, but do this one in particular that I use.Place a small window fan behind the fridge sitting on the floor and blowing lightly across the lower coils under the fridge. This will fake out the system making it think everything is fine and reset the original fan that does this over the lower coils. If the fan starts running again after a day, your done.If it doesn't,replace the lower fan.Or just leave the window fan blowing across the coils.
Ed5shaxmt10 water dispensing won't shut off
One of two problems could be causing this problem...... First problem can be that the switch that you push on to dispense water or ice is sticking. The second problem that could be is the water solenoid that comes on and should close off fully is sticking open and allowing water to drip and not shut off completely. This is usually caused when the plunger in the solenoid starts to stick due to calcium deposits that has built up on it after time and if the water dispense system is not used that often. If you're not technically inclined, make sure that the repair person does not tell you anything that does not fit the descriptions that I have mentioned above. Hope this helps.
Adjust cube size
If your ice container is also on the door then the issue is in your ice chute with the dispenser door. If your ice bucket is not on the door the issue is your defrost timer sticking.
