We have a new whirlpool refrigerator....there is watering collecting in the bottom of the freezer side and it is running out onto the floor..do we need a repairman or is there something we can adjust

Sometimes the drain can clog with ice. If this is it - simple fix. Empty the freezer and find the drain. Put hot water in the drain with a turkey baster or try using a hair dryer to thaw the ice and let the water drain. A small amount of water drainage through this drain is normal. The water sits in a tray underneath and evaporates helped by heat from the compressor. If the drain plugs, the water will build up in the bottom of the freezer and become an ice block.

My fridge just started running water from under, not just a Lil drip,I even have to shut the main water line off....what do I do now?.

My refrigerator did this when the fridge temperature control door got stuck open and froze everything in the refrigerator. I tracked down the problem to a connection in my water supply filter. I just removed the filter and spliced the line. I doubt the same thing happened to you but you can probably find the leak by tracing the water supply to the ice maker/water dispenser.

Section between refrigerator and freezer extremely hot.

Check your owners manual troubleshooting. See if you find an answer. Please be more specific. Sounds like it's "stuck" in defrost mode, since it uses electrical heating elements to make the freezer coils melt ice off, but only lasts long enough to remove the collected ice. I would guess the unit runs constantly, or cannot maintain temperature. If the defrost cycle is not working there is a timer not working, or relay, or somehow a very rare short in the defrost system.

Refrigerator works, freezer does not

cant be possible it only seems like that, the fridge gets its cool air from freezer. check the freezer door seals, the fan and the more than likely defrost timer and cold control dial? might want to check the thermistors as well

There is a bad order coming from ice and water

Replace water supply line with the plastic tubing ice maker line. It fixed mine that had a metal braided line on it that made the water taste kie rubber and dirt,, after that I tried a vinyl braided line.and it made the water taste like garden hose water.. The plastic tubing was the cure. Reply and tell me what you have.

How to remove bottom vent on refrigerator

There are only two "clips" equidistantly spaced along the length and near the top of the vent grill. Important: Open both doors on side by side as the top of the vent grill has a lip that extends from the top to under the two doors.. Pick a side and lightly pull straight out, repeating procedure for opposite side. Remember to open both doors when re-attaching.

Noisy whirlpool condensor fan motor

These motors with the plastic fan are apparently failing so often that when I went to the parts store, the owner told me on guy bought 4 replacement motors for his condo complex. Buy the old version of the motor with a metal fan blade. You have to clip off the white connector on the wiring harness and then wire to the new motor using wire nuts (easy). It's a lot cheaper too - $49 for the motor and blade vs alost $100 for the crappy plastic one. Running llike a champ right now!

The water dispenser for my GD25DFXFQ00 is not working. It clicks, but no water comes out

The water could have frozen in the door or in the reservoir behind the crispers. The filter could be completely blocked.

Tighten door handle on Whirlpool Conquest refrigerator

You need to remove the handle befor eyou can tighten the mounting bolt behind it. T remove the handle just grab it and yank UP quick and hard. The handle will unclip and release, then you can tighten the bolt down and re-install the handle. How strong do you have to be?!!! Trying that and it won\'t unclip. Not sure how hard to try--or will you break something?!!You have to pull up pretty darn hard with a jerk. That is how both handles are removed on these conquest refrigerators

Door disassembly

most indoor dispensers are just a pathway for the ice to slide down with a flapper the dispensing mechanism is inside the freezer itself. If for some reason you need to access the inside of the door it usually means removing the door seal to do so.
