most indoor dispensers are just a pathway for the ice to slide down with a flapper the dispensing mechanism is inside the freezer itself. If for some reason you need to access the inside of the door it usually means removing the door seal to do so.

It is probably one of two things. Either the solonoid valve has failed or the water line is frozen. If it has a filter change that, I am not familliar with that unit.

I cannot provide information on the particular problem but I suggest you find the model and serial number of your refrigerator and search the Whirlpool website for any service bulletins or recalls. In the meantime keep the water turned off to the refrig. until a repair is identified.

Either the fridge's controller is trying to indicate a failure, or a temporary power failure has reset the fridge and it's demo mode. Demo mode is the mode used in stores where the lights and stuff will work but the motor doesn't run. Exiting demo mode may be as simple as unplugging it again for a few minutes, but you should look in the troubleshooting section of your manual to find out for you specific model.

It should be located behing the rear panel of the freezer compartment.

Possible failed water inlet solenoid valve or the line to the dispenser is frozen.

Emma: The lock and unlock feature is accomplished by holding the lock button for 3 seconds, and you will see a count down number just above it that indicates 3, then 2, then 1, and a soft tone along with the lock icon appears. To reverse this hold the same button for 3 seconds following the same procedure and the unlock icon will appear.

That's an easy one, the draw is not in correctly, preventing the door to close properly. Clean up the mess then work with the draw until it seats properly, then double check that the door seals closes right.

It should shut off after satisfying the thermostat control setting. The control could be bad or the refrigerator is not cooling enough. Check to see if the coils under the refrigerator are not blocked with lint and the fan by the compressor in back is turning. Also check if the fan blade is not dirty with lint. These things could cause the refrigerator to run constantly.
