Do you want to layer the sessions and mix them together? Then Cubase is the best software.

Lost all sound...

Hello....
No Sound, No Volume Control, Mixer not Found, No Sound device installed…etc etc, This is a generic issue with all Windows OS updates....many of the users are facing this issue....this issue began after an auto update from MS changed many IRQs of Win OS, mainly the Sound and Audio Control system of Windows.
1 - R U facing NO Audio / No Sound issue...?
2 - Is ur Volume Control not responding ?
3 - Is ur Sound and Audio Device in Control Panel Grayed out ?
4 - Do u get a msg "No Active Mixer Devices Installed....when u try to open Volume Ctrl etc etc ?

If ur ans to any one of them is Yes...then u are being spammed by Microsoft....as ur Sound Control IRQ is being frozen by a recent update from Microsoft....

NOTE..THIS…IS…VERY..IMPORTANT...
No file update or any sound driver update can fix it, neither Microsoft is issuing any patch to fix it…or giving any help on this.
Full solution is available in my website (Support page)...it's quite simple process to fix it, and I am not charging any money, just trying to do some service and help everyone affected by this stupidity from Microsoft.

all the best...

HP Pavilion Dv6 Speakers wont work!

Download the latest drivers from the hp website for your computer.Un-install the present one and reboot your computer.Install the drivers once windows come up.This should take care of it.If not it could be your os.Last thing you should consider is the sound card itself which is built on the motherboard.
Good luck

Sound coming through computer speakers instead of through fast track.

Check your audio settings to make sure that it's going to the right driver. goto: start -> control panel -> sound and audio devices out of the 5 tabs, you'll want to pay attention to 2 of them, these are the "audio" and "voice" tabs. Make sure that your speakers on are the external sound system's drivers and not your internal sound card. (Basically, make your sound playback the same as your sound recording)

My M-audio FireWire 410 doesn't work

It sounds like you may be experiencing a configuration issue with your M-Audio FireWire 410 audio interface. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the connections: Make sure that the FireWire 410 is securely connected to your computer and that all cables are properly plugged in. If the connections are loose or faulty, it can cause problems with the audio output.
  2. Restart the device: Sometimes, restarting the audio interface can resolve issues with the audio output. To do this, disconnect the FireWire 410 from your computer, wait a few seconds, and then reconnect it.
  3. Update the drivers: It is possible that the drivers for your FireWire 410 may be out of date or incompatible with your operating system. To update the drivers, visit the M-Audio website and download the latest drivers for your device. Once the drivers are installed, restart your computer and try using the FireWire 410 again.
  4. Check the settings: Make sure that the FireWire 410 is selected as the default audio device in your operating system's audio settings. You can access these settings by going to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound. Under the Playback and Recording tabs, select the FireWire 410 and click the Set Default button.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it is best to contact M-Audio support for further assistance. They should be able to provide you with specific guidance for troubleshooting the problem with your FireWire 410.

When I record with my m-audio mobile pre USB, there is no latency issues with recording but there is a delay in the headphones if I turn them up to hear myself while recording. How do I fix this? I'm

Have a read at this article. I assume you are using ASIO4ALL if not then you should. http://www.image-line.com/support/FLHelp/html/recording_audio_USBmic.htm Specifically this part: Note about latency: USB microphones generally only allow you to hear the sound being recorded after it has passed through FL Studio. As the latency of USB microphones depends on the ASIO4ALL latency settings, there may be a troublesome delay between the sound made and it being reproduced from your speakers or headphones. For example, low latency monitoring is particularly important to vocalists as high latencies cause a distracting echo effect. The only solution to this problem is to lower your buffer length settings (there are limits) or obtain a new soundcard with direct-monitoring.

My sound card is distorted how can i repair it

Be careful and take off the side panel to the PC tower to expose the inner parts of the computer and there you find that your sound card is inside attached to the motherboard (The Mainboard) get a star or flat head screwdriver and unscrew the screw, slowly put out your sound card (Don't forget to unplug your audio wires first) then what I do is get a Q-tip and dab it in some alcohol then just roll it on the paint leg or napkin and wipe off the little gold tips were the card slides in from BOTH SIDES and also check to see if there is a lot of dust inside your PC its pretty good that you blow it out that way it doesn't overheat as well now just put the card back in and see if that works and if not then you most likely need a driver for it and for that go to the website of the soundcard and go to support and drivers for your sound card version...Hope this helped thanks

Why do dvd's skip and sound doesn't always work on my Sony RDR-VXD655?

Well thevskipping part is the quality of your player, and the sound is often when somebody doesn't know how to convert stuff.
