Security acces is different on the router i cannot connect to the router
LOST ROUTER LOGIN PASSWORD
If you have forgotten your personal router login password there is no way to recover it. You will have to reset the router. This means all the settings on the router will be reset to factory defaults. It also means that all your connected devices will need to be connected again with the new security information (WEP, WAP, etc,) . You will need the default admin login name and the default admin password. This can be found in the user guide that came with the router. This can usual be found online at the router manufacturers site.
There is usually a button or a switch hidden in a pinhole opening on the back of the router. Pressing and holding the switch for 10 seconds or so will cause the reset and usually the LEDs will flash and blink for several seconds as the router firmware sestets and clears out the old information.
If you are trying to get into someone else's router illegally there is no way to find out their login password.
For future reference, write the password down, or a hint at what the password is, on a piece of tape and secure it on the bottom of the router. I use my cell phone memo function to store all my passwords.

My phone is interferring with my wireless internet
Wireless G operates at 2.4Ghz. Your wireless phone most likely uses this same 2.4Ghz frequency. If your phone has the option to change the frequency - then I would do that to see if it helps. If your phone will not let you change frequency, then you may need to purchase a new phone that doesn't operate in the 2.4Ghz range.

I HAVE AN IPOD TOUCH,
Depending on the version of your router (you can determine the version from the
Trendnet support web site), there may be a firmware update for your router that will resolve the issue that prevents your iPod Touch from connecting to it.
There has also been discussions that simply reseting the router by disconnecting the power cord for a minute or so can allow an iPod Touch to successfully associate with a flakey router.

Everything seems plugged in but
even if the cables are plugged in, this does not mean all is ok..
Have the cables checked with a network cable tester.
If you are using the wireless system to connect to an access point, check and make sure that no-one is using a cordless phone which operates on the same frequency as the wireless access point.
Most operate at around 2.4 ghz which is in the same area as the wireless signals.
Dont forget, anyone in the same general area (within 100meters) using a cordless phone can cause this issue.
You can also get drama's from other household appliances like microwaves, TV's or anything which uses large magnetic fields in normal operation..
If in doubt, switch these items off or change the position of yourself or the access point..
