The manual for the UW8F2CXLSB gives the normal defrost procedure. Remove food (you can set the freezer to a lower temperature or the Fast Freeze setting to super chill the food first for several hours). Store the food in a cool location. Then remove the freezer drawers and turn off the unit. Leave the freezer door open and put some towels or other absorbent cloth in the bottom to soak up the ice water. Replace the wet towels with dry ones as needed. Once defrosted, clean and dry the freezer before turning it back on. Then return the food to the freezer. Your drain is stopped up. The water is freezing because it has no where to go. Clear the drain line with compressed air.

U may have bad led board

Bad control board it's on back side of the fridge usually if u can replace all 4 or 5 capacitor on the board should solve the problem

Hi Lucille, NO This model does not have a water filter.You will need to complete disconnect the ice maker and clean it out. Then remove and flush the fill tube. If ice still appear dirty, you may to replace the water valve,the water tube and the ice maker too. The main control board in the back of the fridge is most likely what is wrong.
