Question edited for clarity and typos. Question moved from Office Equipment to Make Model category. Use the handwheel and force it in the normal direction of travel. You may break the needle, but you can't break the machine. Tip given to me by a dry cleaner seamstress when she asked me to force her machine in the shop (tiny Vietnamese lady) Then remove the needle, add the bobbin carrier and an empty bobbin and run the machine for 15 seconds full speed.

Hi, First of all, make certain you remove both parts of the needle. Sometimes it breaks under the plate and knots up with the bobbin. If that is so, lift the presser foot and carefully try to lift the plate so you can get scissors under it to cut the thread and free the needle. Pull the bobbin out and replace it and put a new needle in. It should work fine.

Contact manufacturer on line. They should be able to supply manual for you to use. These can usually be downloaded at no charge.

I would suggest taking the machine in to be adjusted and make sure they can work on that model machine, and if they can, then the same day you get it back, sew on it to make sure the problem is fixed.

Somewhere near the tension unit there is a screw in the bodywork, slacken the screw and move the tension unit round
