Is your phone connecting to a hosted PBX provider or is it connecting to a premise-based IP PBX? Incoming and outgoing calls are usually handled by two separate connections between your PBX and the service provider SIP trunk. Sounds like a registration problem with the SIP trunk. There is nothing you can do from the phone itself to fix this.

Your phone has two passwords, administrative and http. If you lose http but still have administrative you can fix this through the web interface as your are trying. If both are lost then you will have to reset the phone to factory defaults by using TFTP to update the frimware. Note that this will result in you starting from scratch with your configuration.

Go to vlan settings, then pick reset . The phone would restart itself and that should do the trick.

this is not a solution - we have the same problem too.
have about 70 snoms here and sometimes the display shows only black boxes. a reboot helps then mostly for a while.
telephones are connected by poe or voltage adapter.
never had over voltage and i can't remember on power outages.

try resetting the vlan settings if that doesnt work ensure that the default gateway and dns settings are correct.

To lock or unlock a Snom 300 keypad you will use the * key. Hold this down until the lock icon appears and hold down again until lock icon is gone to unlock.
