As always the Apple products are proprietary and DISPLAY post has issues. Disregard all the testing with other adapters and displays and replace the inverter first, it is the cheaper option.

I have a mac and I can't load my facebook page at

Thank you for contacting Fixya Support, I am glad to assist.

Depending on your web browser, you first should clear the Cache of the select web browser and then reset the browser.

I would also recommend you try this simple procedure I am providing you from MacOSX.com forum regarding the inability to launch or load Facebook:
Link: Cannot Load Facebook on my Mac

In regards to video suggest you try, depending on the web browser you have (Safari or Firefox) is to check the Add-ons of that browser, for any updated plug-ins for viewing Youtube videos.

If you are accustomed to using just one browser, experiment with different browsers.

The most commonly used web browsers for Mac OS X are:

* Safari (Built-in web browser from Apple direct)

* Firefox (Developed by Mozilla)

* Camino (Developed by Mozilla)

* Opera (Developed by Opera Software)

For your current web browser, if you want to keep working on the video playback for your Youtube, you should clear the Cache of the web browser and reset your browser.

These are some general practices to resolving the stated issues you are having with launching Facebook and loading YouTube videos.

Let me know if this helps.

Regards,

After buying a new MacBook Pro, what are some things you should do to it right...

Here is my suggestions that proved to ease my productivity and experience with every Mac laptop I've had. 1. Learn the basic Swipe Gestures: Use your fingers to use your Mac in

OS X El Capitan

2. Take a few minutes to learn the basic Hotkey Functions in the Mac OS Operating system. OS X keyboard shortcuts. This will quickly improve your overall experience when working with different applications and ease your daily workflow. 3. Learn the basic on Installing Applications How to install an application on your Mac. ( Often new mac users forget to delete the .DMG 'Disk Image' file afterwards. Which is essentially your 'installation file'. If you don't need it anymore after installation, why keep it?) 4. Easily find everything you are looking for on your mac using the built-in Mac Basics: Spotlight. (Learn the simple hotkey) 5. You can try and install a small application calledSpectacle . It's a small application that runs in the background. As they say on their website; " Move and resize your windows with ease" Take a few minutes to learn and use the hotkeys. It might seem as a lot to do for just learning to resize your windows, but it's really not, and I find it to be very useful. 6. Go get Dropbox - Downloading Dropbox and Google Drive - Free Cloud Storage 7. Visit the AppStore So many powerful apps. Built right in. An icon for the AppStore should be located in your Dock or Application folder. Here you will find a lot of free and paid apps. 8. Browsers. Pick your favorite and download/install them. Chrome, Mozilla Firefox Web Browser, Opera browser - The alternative web browser. You should already have Safari installed . 9. Setup iCloud. Your content. On all your devices. Sync your Calendar, Contacts, Photos etc. to the "Cloud". 10. Connect to your social networks like Facebook & Twitter. Setting Up Twitter & Other Social Networks

Why my skype cant see my writing in mac

Have you tried trashing the version you have & re downloading the most recent version from the Skype website?
If this is the only application that's giving you this kind of trouble, its most likely the app.
Locate Skype in the Applications folder, drag it to the trash & empty the trash. You can download the latest Skype version here:

(don't forget to restart your mac) ;)

MacBook pro wont start

We may need some more information to help you with this one. Have you checked your power cord? Make sure that it is securely plugged into the laptop. There should be either an amber or green light on the cord right next to the end where it plugs into the laptop. Try holding down the power button for 15 seconds, let go of the button, and then try to turn it on again. What have you tried to get your Mac to start? Was it damaged in any way? Good luck! Hope this helps. Doug

My macbook got wet, I dried it and seems to be working OK, but will not charge from the wall charger

First easy thing to try is - remove the battery and make sure that the contacts are dry and clean. When that doesn't work, then try to swap batteries with someone else that has one or maybe at the Apple store. When the other/new battery does not charge either, then you know that something internal is shot and not easy for you to fix. If the laptop won't run without a battery, then you can probably skip to the last step. Sorry about mostly bad news. I've seen this happen more than once, and typically the whole laptop is dead. So you are actually lucky it works at all.
