The operating system on your computer is Windows 7 and the adapter is WUSB54GC. You are getting the Error 211 that means the drivers are not installed properly.
Though you have the CD of the adapter, you will need to download the drivers for the adapter from the web site.
Go to www.linksys.com/download , enter the model number of the adapter. select the proper version of the adapter. download the drivers for windows 7.
Now try to install the downloaded drivers. It will work.

Linksys compact wireless-g usb adapter won't install
It appears that the Windows service WLAN Auto Config was stopped due to an unknown reason. After re-activating this service I was able to install the wireless usb adapter 100% correctly. The Windows service WLAN Auto Config can be found if you run the program msconfig.

Wont install
I have only tried this on Windows XP. If you can connect to the web using a hard line you can get this running. Make sure you have internet. Then plug the wireless adapter into the usb port and when windows ask if it can search the internet say yes. That will install a driver for the wusb54gc. Then windows will manage the device. Linksys only has the option to download the installer as opposed to just the driver. What a pain when the installer doesn't work.

Frontier router
Frontier Router Login at the bottom of the Network Connections window, just below the address bar. Select Wireless Properties from the menu. Locate the Network security key field on the Security tab. You'll see your Wi-Fi network password if you click the box for Show characters.

How to Fix Linksys Router Error 2118?
This seems to be a symptom of a configuration error, which can be fixed by resetting the router to factory default. Do this by finding the (often partially hidden) reset button on the device, and pressing and holding down the button, with the power on, till lights start flashing on the router. Let go of the button and allow the router to reset (can take a minute or two). You will now have reset the router to factory default. To connect to your ISP, you'll need to enter your account details (and any other specific information) provided to you by your ISP. You will also have to set a name and password for the wifi section of your router (if it has wifi) if you don't want it to be freely accessible by everyone within wifi range.
