JanoneDc3018 thread bunches up .

Are you using heavy thread for the top stitching? If so you will need to tighten the top tension. You would think if it is thicker thread that you would need to loosen the top tension but you have to tighten it to help pull it up through the fabric. If you use heavy thread in the bobbin you would have to loosen the bobbin tension. Check and make sure the thread is seated in the top tension and make sure there is no lint in the tension disc. It is definitely a tension issue. Hope this helps.

Hello, just a few quick

The easiest way to know is to look at the bobbin case and if it has a finger sticking up then it is oscillating, plate If you have snap on feet to take the foot off just push the front of the foot up, to put the foot on, rest the foot on the needle plate then lower the presser bar down on top of it to snap on

When I stitch the spool

Check that the thread is tight around the bobbin. Make sure that the bobbin is in the right way around - the bobbin thread should double back on itself coming out of the bobbin holder. The bobbin tension adjustment is the small screw in the plate on the bobbin case that the thread passes under as it comes off the bobbin and goes out.

Where to put oil in sewing machine, no

Some modern sewing machines do not need oiling and manufacturers reccomend that you don't oil them. Maybe your machine is one of these. Check your manual if you have one.

maybe something is catch in the tension guides, which is giving you a tigher tension. Try pulling a thread through the guides towrads the needle and looking for an obstruction

The thread doesn't loop with the bobin thread so

I think that your needle may be in backwards (flat side should face rear of machine) or you do not have your bobbin threaded right, such as the bobbin thread feeding the right way. Check your manual.

My machine seems to jump alot and the underneath

Is it just the bobbin that is jumping? This will happen if you have the bobbin in upside down. Both sides look the same, but you want to make sure the bobbin will turn in the same direction as the little arrow on the metal right by the bobbin slot. If you goof, the bobbin will keep popping up and down and you'll get knots.

My machine keeps jamming

Check to make sure it is threaded through all of the threading points and that it is seated in the tension (Hold the thread from pulling off the spool and pull a little Just before you thread the needle to make sure thread is seated in the tension disc). Check the bobbin and make sure it is seated properly. There is only one way for the bobbin to go in the bobbin casing, check manual. If threaded properly, tighten the tension. It should work fine.
