When the wireless adapter picks up the signal to the network that you wish to access, choose to connect to it. From that point, you need to know the name of the network, the WEP Code or password for the router or network connection and the passphrase or password that allows the user to connect to the network.

I have an answer for you.your comp is loosing the IP address.connect your computer through cable then goto start - programmes - accessories - dos prompt. type ipconfig.you`ll get ip address,subnet mask,default gateway.copy it. goto network and sharing center in vista and network connection under control panel in XP,IN Vista,click on view status,goto properties and double click on internet protocol(tcp/ip) or IPv4In XP,right click wireless network connection and goto properties and double click on internet protocol(tcp/ip).type in the IP address,subnet mask,default gateway.in DNS server address type the default gateway in primary DNS and in secondary 4.2.2.2. your connection won`t drop after this.

With other adapters, I have needed to run a registry cleaner WinASO or RegistryFirstAid to clean out the unused entries so they could be reinstalled properly. Similar to removing some famous brands of Anitvirus that do not completely remove themselves.

If they use the wide ribbon cable, you need the cables with two connectors. Then set on drive to master and one to slave, or set both to CS - for cable select. When you restart the computer, the OS will do the rest.

Hi Klex, I was able to find the website address www.kdsusa.com through one of their products on Newegg, but the site appears to no longer exist. They also had a phone number listed (1-800-283-131) but that too doesn't seem to work. I have the feeling that they have either close their business or ended their operations in the U.S.. Sorry I didn't have better information for you.
