Washer model WM2016CW - IE code appears - in order

They have a small gauze type filter which fits in the pipe end going into the rear of the machine.
Never had a problem with any other Hotpoint machine I had fitted other than LG which showed a similar fault .
Try Using the original pipe not the LG Pipe as well to see .

Front-load washer doesn't clean!

I don't know anyone who thinks the front loader is better except for stacking things on top of... Certainly the performance of the modern water-saving front-loader is questionable when compared to earlier models - which is why I think a wash takes much longer these days with a modern machine, I think it has to in order to be effective. My friend's new front loader can take a couple of hours to complete a programme and it is only a washer and not a waser/drier. The older washers used to take everything that could be pushed inside and the laundry would emerge smiling. These days overloading is a complete taboo and should be weighed to ensure nothing is strained. Your washer might have a fault but in the final analysis you made a contract with a retailer to, in return for a consideration, supply you with a washer to clean your laundry. The supplied washer doesn't clean the laundry in spite of your best efforts and that means the retailer has broken the contract. It is up to him to sort matters out to your satisfaction.

Were does the little black hose go by the filter

The black hose is a drain. It drains the water out of the filter housing prior cleaning the filter. It has a plug in the end. Take out the plug and drain the water into a shallow pan. When done, the plugged hose just stays behind the cover.

LG Washer trips dedicated breaker

That to me seems like an electrical problem. Every now and again you can get a bad GFCI receptacle that will constantly keep tripping. I would also see that the GFCI is properly sized for the circuit. It needs to be a 20 AMP circuit (just dedicated to the washer) and a 20AMP GFCI receptacle. The way to tell is the 1 of the three prongs of the 20AMP GFCI will be in the shape of a "T" while a 15 AMP will have 2 straight prongs and the ground prong. Hope this ws helpful, don't go spilling any money into your washer without getting that fixed first, because it doesn't seem like a washer problem.

The FE error or fault code indicates that the washer is overfilling due to a defective water inlet valve. The valve is not repairable and will need to be replaced

My lg Tromm front load

these units have had alot of problems especially if it is on a pedistal ...they won't admit this is a problem but i have been a lg servicer for over 4 years now and see it everyday ...the unit has a stator on the rear of the tub and on the stator is a device called a hall sensor that goes bad very often... it is what controls the spped and balance of the tub..if the load starts getting unbalanced the hall sensor will tell the motor controller to slow the speed down... most likely this is your problem.... good luck please vote

Water filter at inlet hose on LG WM2016CW

Following a 1E error I found the gaskets in both supply hoses had perished and the debris had blocked the mesh inlet filters, causing the grinding noise that the pump makes when it can't get water. The original LG filters are indeed removable, in bits. Their little plastic tag for pulling them out snaps off so you end up digging the filter out, just be careful 'cos there's another mesh behind the filter on the hot and there's a rubber seal behind the cold one. Easiest thing is to forget replacing them with original parts and get the old fashioned kind from Lowes etc, $2 for a 3 pack, these fit into the end of the supply hose and are a rubber gasket with mesh in the middle so you won't even need to buy gaskets to replace the ones that fell apart.
