The door and/or door switch assembly are out of alignment, or something on the latch mechanism is worn. If this oven is hung from a cabinet, then there should be two, or more, large screws holding it to the cabinet. There is probably a bracket on the rear wall as well.

When I take one of these down, I find a cardboard box that's just smaller than the space between the oven and the range. Then, when I loosen the screws, it comes to rest nicely on the box. Hi - Are you referring to how to remove a built in over the range microwave? If so, typically Frigidaire does not have specific instructions on how to exactly remove the unit. Since it is such a complex unit with multiple parts that it is suggested to handle with caution including the mounting brackets when it was first installed, I would recommend contacting a professional to move forward accurately.

The turntable motor will need to be replaced, gears tend to give out over a period of time.

There is no adjustment to a microwave door. But, your problem is that the door has been bent downwards a little causing the door not to connect inside. There is two things you can do , one, replace the microwave or two, try to found a locale appliance store and see if you buy a replacement door. It would probley be cheaper to replace the microwave.

sounds like this was to one of your door microswitches and they work in series telling the unt that the door is closed and safe to operate... or the door latch assembly itself that nakes contact with the door switch is broke...going to have to pull apart and see what exactly broke... a few sites to get parts from i would recommend are

For a Frigidaire FMV156EM (which is made by Sharp), the charcoal filter is Sharp part number RK-240 also known as PFIL-B016MRE0.

The first part shows up in simple Google searches, so feel free to pick a vendor that shows up there.

But my best suppliers don't show it, and the second part number is only in the service manual, so it must be a proprietary number.

If you remove the outer shell, you should be able to see the fuse which is in by the power inverter. This model may have two fuses but i'm not positive. There are a few wires in this model that do have fusible links built in them. Best bet is to use a voltmeter and trace some wiring
