might have lost freon charge

I am also looking for an "upper Blower wheel' for my Whirlpool portable Air Conditioner and have not been able to find one. The model # is: ACP122GPW. I've looked all over town, even ordered one, and it was too small. I believe the part # is: 09040193. Can you help?

Portable Air Conditioners do not wash dishes.

There is a kit for that. You can also import outside air instead of using cool air from the room. You can make or find "small kitchen pan" that covers the intake area on the back then add a collar for a 4" hose from a dryer and vent it outside making sure the air stays away from the exhaust air. Yes for dehumidifier, no for heat mode. In dehumidifier mode all the unit does is takes air in, runs it through the evaporator (cold) coil and the back through the condenser (warm) coil discharging dry, slightly warmer air back into the room. In heating mode however if you don't vent the exhaust there will be no heat produced. Warm air will come out the top but cold air will also come out the exhaust (essentially, in heating mode all it does is operates as an air conditioner in reverse. Hope this helps.

Technicians trick. Power goes into board but not out.. Bad board. Replace it. The only repair on a PC board should be done but someone who does it everyday. I've made that mistake before.

Check the condensor for dirt or air flow issues ie bad fan or really dirty coil

Check Evap. and cond coil make sure they are clean and have good airflow.
