Model #mp205

Sorry about the delay, I missed the model number in the header. I have requested a copy of the service manual so I can give you the parts you will likely need.

C/d car player

Push the left toggle in. It will go through different preset modes, then it will let you adjust things manually.

I find it helps to keep the Beep function (in the standby menu) on so that you can keep pressing the toggle and know when you're back on volume. It's easy to press by accident.

No sound

Try pressinf the reset button (small black/grey one) that you would need a pencil to do,

Also kenwoods have a cup built in the audio ic to disconect sould if wires are touching together, although you may have it wired right a blown speaker will cause this problem, if thid did happen you would have to press the reset button to get sound after the problem was fixed, if none of this helps, i would sugest relpacing the audio IC'

You'll need to turn the auxiliary function on in the setup menu. Press Source to put the unit in Standby, then press and hold the Menu button for at least 1 second. Press the control switch toward AM or FM until the AUX setting comes up, then press the control switch toward <<< or >>> to change the setting to ON. Reset a Kenwood 8070 without a remote?

To reset a Kenwood 8070 receiver without a remote, you typically need to locate the reset button on the device itself. This button is often small and recessed, so you may need a paperclip or a similar tool to press it. Consult the user manual or look for the reset button near the power or input/output ports on the receiver. Once located, press and hold the reset button for a few seconds until you see the receiver reset. Keep in mind that this process may vary slightly depending on the specific model of the Kenwood 8070 receiver.
