Where is the convergencs fuse
Its located directly to the right side of the flyback. Its the FL231 which is the center fuse of the three brown rectangle fuses.

Your convergence has failed and needs to be repaired. Once quick test is to goto your convergence menu and see if you can adjust red and blue. If not its has failed and needs to be fixed. You can call in a repair shop or you can get the parts and instructions from www.TvRepairKits.com and do the repair yourself. Its a fairly easy DIY fix.

Common Problem #1) Convergence has gone out
Projection TV sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the video to look normal. When its out of alignment the video will look 3D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the TV menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired.
This is a very common failure on these projection sets and a fairly simple DIY fix. All projection sets including Samsung, RCA, Sony, Philip Magnavox, Panasonic, Pioneer, Akai, GE, JVC, Toshiba, and others at some point will have the same problem.
Common Symptoms include....
- Screen looks 3D
- Colors don't line up
- One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
- Screen is bowed or warped.
- TV shuts off after powering on. Power light will blink. TV may also make a chirping noise.

Common Problem #2) CRT Fluid is Cloudy
Projection TV tubes have a liquid coolant that is used to keep them from overheating. After many years the coolant in the blue and green tubes will become cloudy and cause the screen to look dull, red/orange, etc. You may even see halos around images.

I no longer have any
The most likliest cause would be a issue with the RED CRT drive board around 35.00 from
www.tvrepairworld.com it could also be an issue with the RED CRT itself but thats doubtful as usually the set will shut down if the CRT itself has an issue.

You have a blown fuse on the Deflection board FL231 it will be on the righthand side of the flyback Transfomer there are 3 of them in a row they will look like small brown retrangler caps, it will be the one in the middle. I had this problem myself just several months ago, replacing this fuse fixed the problem. That fuse controls the convergance of the 3 CRT's, without it the tv can't converge so you don't get the option in the menu.

Was watching tv and it
This is typical with many sets when it goes old as there is a high possibility that the components over a period of heating and cooling , tend to bring on a problem of dry soldering. So my advice is to check the set for some loose joints that have played on to give you these erratic shut downs.
Remove main plug, the covers - with caution of high voltage, check for dry joints, use a good soldering iron to solder all suspected points. Please find the link for SMPS faults.

I recently had convergance problems, I replaced
Either you yanked the speaker wires out of their socket on the board - if you need to access that board you must push them out of the way - or, more likely, when you have soldered at the flyback transformer you made a mistake: the audio amplifier is powered from the flyback, not directly from the power source. Check the speakers connector, identify the amplifier IC and check the voltages on it; finally check all the solderings - redo them if necessary.
There is also a third possibility (but this is a remote one): that the audio amplifier IC has been damaged somehow while you worked on the flyback. In that case you will have to replace it.
