Generally this error(Error 0001) is observed while receiving Fax. The Error Code arises when sender not using G3 Fax Machine.So it is a communication error.

Remove the toner cartridge and all the paper. make sure the top flap is closed then disconnect the power for about one minute. plug back in and allow to reboot, then put back the toner cartridge and paper, it should now be fine!

clear the memory or set it to not fax to memory. it should fax direct

Scan platform is located above paper cover. Its like long rectangle with wite stripe and scaner. In some cases it falls down and the documents from feeder cant came trough.
Push it up back, and should work.

If doesnt works, you have bad main pcb fault.

Above paper cover, there is scann platform. Put it back in up possition.

just press red button few times. That means that there is some kind of interferences in tel line, yours or senders.

It sound like the toner drum is not turning!Take the cartridge to where u bought it and have it checked!Good Luck!

its got to to with your one touch speed dails,make sure if u got them that they have been programmed right!

Are you receiving faxes only from one place? This error indicates that your machine is not receiving the "handshake" from the other machine. It knows a call came in and sent a request to the other machine for parameters, but did not receive a response.

If this happens with all incoming faxes, your machine may need to be serviced.

i have fax L100 ,i can send a fax but i cant recevie a fax error is communication error (003F)
