E 1 error on Dyna-Glo Workhorse Kerosene Turbo Heater
Take the top off of the heater and and clean the nozzel orifice, while you have it apart wipe off the photo cell and clean and regap spark plug. The nozzel unscews and you can clean it with a bread tie.
After this clean or change the fuel filter in the tank, and finally check the pump pressure and make sure it is inline with the owner manual. This is assuming that it is firing to begin with

Keeps going out
If you just leave it on pilot and it stays lit....and then you turn the gas valve to on.... make sure you watch what happens, as if for some reason the flame doesn't stay on the thermocouple, could be angled wrong... it won't sense the flame and go out... it isn't the thermocouple, if the pilot stays lit when you let go of the button.

jikapp, sounds like your rotor air ump may be getting worn down. TSC used to carry the replacement kit for it last time I was looking they didnt have one. You have to take the back cover off (the plastic that holds the filters) then remove the back cover. Oval aluminum about six-eight screws. You will see a black round disc with four fins in it. Pull it off of the shaft. loosen the screws holding the backcover to the motor. (You will need to set your clearance for the new rotor.) Install new rotor just as the reverse of removing the old one. Use a .005 feeler guage and roll it just along the top of the rotor and push the aluminum housing down to hold the feeler guage . Tighten surounding screws and re assemble.

One of the oven pilot
That particular socket may have a bad bulb contact or some loose wiring, which causes the bulb to blow. Unplug the lighting part of the range, remove the bulb and with a flash light inspect the interior of the bulb holder. If it appears corroded or dirty, clean it with a Q Tip sprayed lightly with WD40. Also, gently shake the holder if you can, to determine if it is loose. If it's loose, it should be replaced. Also, when you replace bulbs, make sure you are using ones that are designated as Appliance Bulbs. They can withstand heat and cold better than regular household bulbs.
Hope this helped you solve the problem.

My pilot light won't stay lit.
Sounds like you have a blockage to the main jet and maybe to the pilot light. If you have a
compressor just blow the jet and around the pilot light area out from the top and with a bit of luck it
will clear it. If not you may need to remove the outer covering and
find the pipe to the main jet and again using compressed air just blow
it out. Usually not much goes wrong with these apart from blockages
every now and then and most of the servicing places just blow them out
with compressed air. Just make sure if you remove a pipe you tighten
the pipe up properly when re-fitting it. Hope this helps.

My guess is that there is air in the system and you will have to hold the valve down a little longer and keep trying. Sometimes these things will drive you crazy when they are stubborn. You can also use an air compressor to clean around the pilot light and blow any dirt or debris away from the pilot unit. Or The thermocouple from the burner flame port to the gas valve is bad. Shut your gas supply off, unscrew the small fitting with the small copper tubing coming out of the gas valve. Follow that tubing up to the burner and disassemble the pilot light end from the burner. Home Depot has a good selection normally or you may want to go to a furnace supply. It shouldn't be more than 10 or 15 dollars for the new one. Reinstall, turn the gas back on and make any adjustments to flame location at the burner.
This thermocouple has to be in the flame, so make sure it is in the correct position before taking it apart, it may have just gotten jarred enough to be out of position.

Need to know how to
The first thing you need to determine is the correct model number of your heater. Once you've done that, go to the GHP Group Inc,
website listing the heater manuals and locate the appropriate manual for your heater model and click on the link for your heater.
After you've selected the appropriate manual, you can either download it to your computer or print it out. Inside the manual you'll find the instructions on how to replace the wick. The kerosene heater manual I reviewed listed an incorrect phone number to call to order a replacement wick. I suggest you use the new GHP Group's number to order your replacement wick: (877) 447-4768.
If you have a different Dyna-Glo heater than a kerosene one, you should still be able to locate the appropriate manual on the
GHP Group's heater website.
Hopefully, you'll have your heater up and working again in no time.
