What flash for Nikon D80
No, the FT1700 is not TTL compatible which is what the camera wants to use. The Promaster 7500EDF is compatible in all modes with the Nikon D80

You should try it only if you have the capable skill. Too much heat on the contact for too long may damage the plastic around them making the connection or mounting of the flash worse. If you have the ability you could do it, but make double sure that you are connecting the correct wire to the proper contact, since each contact has a specific job. If you are not sure send it back to promaster for best results.

My open view is not showing any pictures but showing information about programs playing what might be the problem
