How do I drain water
If leave it for a couple of months without using it, later on when you will need to use it again it by 95% it will be stuck. Their many parts related with water , 2 pumps, valves, jet pasages that even one of this goggled with a sales part then the machine will need complete desaesemble manual descaled and put back together.
So I sugest to find a way so that the machine keep work atleast once a week or even lent to a friend istead of put it on the shelf for long time.
I have no power and we tried several outlets in our home?
HelloThere is a protection fuse inside the coffee maker. Check it. If found blown up, never put an other fuse without finding out the reason for the blown up of present fuse. Surely there will be some reason for a fulse blow up. Whithout find the reason, and put an other fuse in place will make more damge to its electronic control circuit boards. Ir you are not exeperienced to do this work, get this device repaired bay any expereienced service techician, or by the authorised service center for Keurig at your town. OK.
Coffee tastes like rubber / plastic - brand new
After getting in touch with the Keurig folks - I tried their solution. And... it worked! The coffee this morning tastes wonderful! Here is what they said:
To get rid of the "new brewer taste", we recommend you flush three reservoirs of water through the system. Please add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar to the first reservoir of water. To do this, follow these simple steps:
~ Open and close the handle to simulate a brew cycle (without a K-Cup)
~ Press the largest cup size and brew a cup of water.
~ Repeat the process (opening and closing the lid, then brewing) until the reservoir is empty.
~ Flush two more reservoirs of water through the brewer in the same way.
This process will clear any lingering odors or flavors and allow you to enjoy an unadulterated cup of coffee.
I turn the power on my keurig and it turns off in a minute.
I just experienced the same problem with mine. I finally discovered that the round black part that is housed in the clear square part of the water reservoir was stuck. I was able to move it up and down a few times with my finger. Once it was unstuck, I refilled the water reservoir and it's working perfectly now. Hope this helps.

Metallic tasting coffee
You need to look in your manual and descale the unit. When you do this, make sure you use vinegar and water. This will take care of most of that. Also when filling your machine with water, if you use bottled water or going through a good water filter system will help this. So, between descaling the machine, with vinegar and water, and filtered water will help this go away. Thanks MikePlease rate my solution if this was helpful. Thanks.
