My Nespresso lever won't push back and it won't produce any coffee from capsule that is stuck in machine.

Most expresso coffee makers can be taken apart manually. Start removing screws, nuts, etc. Take a picture every so often so you know how to put it back together. See the DeLonghi website to get eerie product manuals. (delonghi.com). Search harder for repair parts and you often can get the sequence of how the parts assemble. You are right, cleaning the jets is the biggest problem area.

Try...Hit the start button then Lift the lever and push back as far as possible and hold for 3 seconds. hit stop button, then close lever. this should restart machine.

My guess is that the Essenza is in 'Descaling' state. See section 7 of the essenza manual. To get out of it, hold both the buttons down for 3 secs. The lights will then blink at normal rate for a bit and then turn solid.

I have had this issue. First, check to make sure water tank is filled and correctly in place? Try descaling it; a kit came with coffee maker. (It just removes hard water build up, it may be blocking your water flow.) If that is not the issue, pull the tray where the used pods are dropped -Is it wet? Like the coffee is pouring into this tray rather than in your cup? If so, I have removed round silver plastic piece from around coffee spout,(gentle -do not crack it) then removed and washed the black spout, I even used a toothpick once, to remove the stubborn coffee ground, Once it was cleaned - it worked perfect. If you run water from the faucet into spout it should flow smoothly. I warn you though, not sure what this does to any warranty, but don't mess with my morning coffee! If the POD tray is not wet, I would tell you not that most likely your machine is not clogged by grounds, so you may not want to take snout apart. I hope this helps.
