How do I reset the lg microwave. It's asking reset date but my touch screen

If the microwave buttons don't work the touchpad and control panel assembly are probably defective.

Nothing on keypad for my microwave works

Be very careful around microwaves they have very high voltage inside them that can be deadly. As for the control panel its very common for grease and oil to get behind the plastic film of the control panel, once it does the buttons will stop working since the grease insulates the contacts. Unplug it from the power, let it sit for 60 minutes to make sure all power from the high voltage caps has dissipated. Get access to the back of the control panel. You will probably have to peel back the control plastic on the front to get behind it. One behind clean all the buttons and contact areas. Reassemble, and it should work.

How do I replace the door?

The door comes in parts not the whole door. All you have to do is remove the plastic liner around the glass and you can get to the screws that hold the door in place. Go to sears web site and you can order the parts thru them they are pretty good about getting the parts for you

LG microwave oven Ms-1927c is not heating up. only

That would likely be a shorted high voltage diode or failed magnetron. Replacing the high voltage diode would be economical, but on most counter top ovens, replacing the magnetron would likely not be. But the service manual is here: http://elektrotanya.com/lg_ms1927c.pdf/download.html Here are a a couple of good help links: http://www.microtechfactoryservice.com/diode.html http://www.microtechfactoryservice.com/mag_test.html You can order LG parts from Encompass here but since the service manual does not have part numbers, it would probably be best to call Encompass toll-free at 866-779-5835.

The fan comes on when the door is opened ?

see the next steps , use the VOM for fix it. God bless youIf your microwave is turning itself on, the first thing to check is the interlock switch. This is usually the first thing to malfunction that could cause this issue. If the interlock switch is bad then it will need to be replaced.
  • Main control boardIf your microwave is turning itself on and the interlock switch is still working, the probable cause is the main control board. If the control board is defective it will need to be replaced.
