The keypad may be damaged or worn out, or control unit may be damaged.

Is it possible that some spray cleaner accidentally got into the controls?

Direct spraying of cleaners on the keypad can damage the controls.

I always recommend that you spray non-ammonia cleaner on a soft cloth (not a paper towel which can scratch) and gently wipe the keypad.

If it is wet and does not dry out over time, it may need to be manually dried or blown out.

In this case, you simply move your circuit board into the new frame.

Make sure the door is aligned and closes safety switches.

It is probably a bad door switch (upper or lower) or one of the switch mounts is damaged or misaligned.

I have a new Kitchen Aid Convection Microwave with air fryer. I've not yet used the air fryer, but today I put a pan with a roast and set to convection roast and turned it on. Here are the steps to remove the door cover from the door of your LG Microwave model LMHM2017ST:

1. Unplug the microwave from the power source.
2. Open the microwave door and locate the four screws on the inner edge of the door.
3. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the four screws.
4. Carefully separate the outer door panel from the inner door panel.
5. You will now see the door cover attached to the outer door panel.
6. Use a flathead screwdriver or plastic pry tool to gently pry the door cover off of the outer door panel. Start at one corner and work your way around the edge.
7. Once the door cover is removed, you can replace it with the brushed silver cover from the new door.
8. To reassemble the door, simply snap the new cover onto the outer door panel and then reattach the outer door panel to the inner door panel using the four screws you removed earlier.

Make sure to be careful when removing the door cover, as it can be fragile and may break if handled roughly.

Question edited for clarity. It depends where you live? In the UK, the fuse is in the wall plug. In the US and other countries it _may_ be at the rear where the mains lead goes in. Sometimes they pull out, sometimes there is a small screw cap. Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Building Materials to LG Microwave. Take into an LG Service centre for repair. They are sealed by security screws and are dangerous inside. You won't be able to get parts.. If it is a counter top microwave and cost $60, just buy a new one as they are a disposable item.

THE HIGH VOLTAGE FUSE IS IN A PLASTIC EXTRUSION NEXT TO THE CAPACITOR AND DIODE. YOU CAN USE 3 OR 4 STRANDS OF THIN WIRE FROM MULTI STRAND 15A MAINS CABLE. SOLDER IT OVER THE BLOWN FUSE. I HAVE DONE THIS 100'S OF TIMES.

Possible fuse for the magnetron power, capacitors or magnetron or all.
