Looking for manuel reset on heater amana ptac

I think you've gotton your moneys worth with ten trouble free years. The power cords safety device is a bit more sensitive to a high resistive short to ground than your breaker is. I would suggest that there is exactly that: a high resistive short to ground within the cabinet of the PTAC. It has been years since I have been on a PTAC call and am unable to suggest specifics. But if you are competent and capable of using a DVOM, open up the unit and begin a systematic approach of determining the problem. The FIRST thing I'd do is check the motor and the compressor with a digital megohmeter. Sometimes their problem will only show up with this sensitive device.

I would be 'surprised' if this motor would ever run again, cleaned or not cleaned.

I suggest you look into buying a new/different AC unit.

Do you have power going to it?. Sometimes if a cheap outlet is used it will break the connection when a loasd is put on it. With the unit plugged in and in on position, wiggle the cord st the outlet. Confirm you have power to the AC Unit, Let me know.

Excessive water dripping from Central A/C drian line

sounds like the overflow drain is picking up the water that means the main drain is clogged.you need to find the main drain pipe if lookin at the air handler in attic there should be 2 drains from unit one higher than other follow it and blow out drain they put the other overflow drain out the eve so if it stars leaking someone notices it and it doesnt damage cieling but it sound like it needs imediate attention befor it does go to the overflow pan and damage your cieling. i hope this helps and good luck
