The fuser needs to be reset.

The left door sensor not closed properly/ I fixed this problem on my copier

this is older model ,driver is not avaiable

u cannot clear it if it is c600... if is c6400, u can fix it by entering mtce mode: press 1,0,8,7,1,0,8,7 in sequence after switch ON; u get "U" ,, now enter 1, 6, 3... press enter/start; cle appears; press enter/start; u get the machine ready now. if c600 fuser lamp might be blown, needs replace; first try as above.

C6000 is usually cause by fluctuation of current(power supply).STEP 1:Open top cover then turn ON the machine,press System Menu then scroll down to Service Setting,then HOLD BOTH the "Start key" and "#" and press "OK".Scroll down to Maintenance Mode then press "OK".press 163 on the keypadscroll down to "Execute" press "OK"Turn Off/On...If C6000 appears again..,STEP 2:U have to reset the fuser thermostat manually.FUSER REMOVAL:Remove rear cover,top cover,left and right cover.Remove two screws. Unplug two connectors. Pull out Fuser unit.Thermostat removal:remove two screws,separate the upper part from the lower part,,remove separation claws (3pcs each 1 held w/ screws at the rear)remove the heater lamp,and upper fuser roller...remove two screws that held the thermostat (circular shape)(reset manually)If you touch the top of the thermostat you will notice that it is in concave form...,you have to drop it hard on the flat surface in order to bring back it\'s original form which is CONVEX.DO THE REVERSE ORDER TO ASSEMBLE.THEN,Repeat procedure in STEP 1.

press and hold the following buttons in the sequence below.

(1) Stop/clear, (2) start, (3) exposure lighter, (4) exposure darker, release the 4 buttons and press the stop/clear button again. the display should now indicate 000.

below the display are 3 buttons... press the left button once, the middle button 6 times, and the button on the right 3 times. the display should now indicate 163.... press the start button 3 times.

your machine will now restart, and if the code was as a result of a power problem, should now work fine. if not the problem could be related to the fixing unit, power supply, or one of the boards.

Also do not tamper with any settings while in the service mode, this WILL have undesired effects. TAKE NOTE, this will only work if your model is the KM-1500

Turn it off and on again, if that does not work, the firmware needs to be updated.

if i remember correctly, that is a fuser code, clean the thermistors and reset it in service mode, think it was code 163

your scanner may get stuck to railing

I bought a km1620 copier. but copied only A4 size paper. No longer paper can not print except A4 paper. how can I change copying system. And how can I count copy. pls. mail me.

this is an error code for slow warm up you should pull the fuser out and check the thermistors and condition of the rollers. sometimes the thermistors get caked in toner so they cant read the temps correct. if you take the unit apart you should be able to detect the toner build up. a soft clothe and some WD40 may be able to clean it off but be ccareful as too rough may clip ther resistor off.

E31 simply means - Waste Toner Reservoir Overflow Problem (when the total number of copies is more than 100K sheets). After E31 is displayed, 1000 sheets may be copied before shutdown.

press 10871087 then 163 then press START 5 times .machine will restart. if problem is still there then u have check ur fixing .might be one of the heater rods is not glowing or the thermistor is blown

it can be defective exposure lamp or inverter pcb or dc controller board

I think the drum have to be change, call a technician first to find the exact problem and make a quotation.

When the machine is powered ON Open the front cover, Release the blue lever and pull out the black cartridge. Replace with new one. Pull out the clear waste toner container. and then close the cover.
