E10 error

Shortly after starting a load of wash(about 10-15 min), the washer flashes an E10 error and beeps continuously. If I cancel the load, there is a lot of water in the drum (and, of course, the clothes haven't rinsed) I am able to run a "spin only" cycle and it spins and drains fine. If, I hit the "start" button again, the washer takes in more water and continues through the rest of the cycle. Sometimes it is the "normal" amount of time, and sometimes it takes an hour or more. The drain hose is not kinked. This unit is only 4 months old.

The error code chart indicates that this could be a water flow problem, too low of a drain hose height. Check for clean filters of the inlet water line. Check that the drain host was assembled as per the manual's instructions. In any case your machine is still under warranty and you can ask for Frigidaire's assistance. Good luck!

the e20 code keeps coming up, only 6 months old what does this mean?

I think I figured this one out. I think it means that the washer is not able to drain, therefore it won't spin either. Underneath the washer is a series of outlet hoses and within one of them is a filter. When I finally found the filter it was clogged up with lint, fibers from a pillow and coins. You have to dig the filter out and then clean the filter and rehook up the hoses, this was relatively simple even for me. The washer works perfectly now.

E70 error

Our machine is 7 months old. The E70 error has been appearing more and more frequently. The machine runs well for the first 35 of out 45 minute cycle. At this point it stops, starts to buzz, and flashes the E70 error. It looks as though the machine is not doing a final rinse so we run the machine again. Sometimes after 2 minutes it stops with E70 message; other times it runs fine until it reaches the 35 minute mark and the E70 error starts again.

Is this a mechanical problem, the hookup, or the water pressure? Thanks.

Hello,

I had this exact same problem with my Frigidaire washer (E70) as bubbles100. I called an appliance repairman on 5/14/09 and paid him $60 to tell me my hot and cold water hoses were reversed/not properly installed.

This repairman was the cheapest priced $60 and he would work till he found the problem. I had one appliance repair company wanting to charge me $90 for 30 min and another wanting to charge $120 for 30 min. Hopefully this information can help save the next person some money by trying this first.

before buying anythings, you have too check the manual too see if you didn't put it in factory test mode by accident. the manual is suppose to be under the top,(two screws on the back)
After that, second thing you have too do, remove the back (six screws) the drain pump is located under the the baril. there is a black rubber tube attached to it. In this tube, there is a basket that keed hard thing away from the pump. In my case, some hair pin pass the basket and block the pump rotor. The computer of the machine told me it was Error E23 but after cleaning, everything work like new!!

So try cleaning it yourself, it is easy even with basic skill. You will need a star screwdriver, a scare-screw driver, pliers.

Remember, better have the machine empty before doing anything, because you'll be working on the DRAIN LINE.

Hope that help someone.

Frigidaire Affinity keeps pausing mid cycle.

Frigidaire Affinity keeps pausing mid cycle. Doesn't seem to make a difference which cycle is selected, any different settings and the washer still pauses. It will pause at least 5 times per wash, in random times. Any idea why? Or what to do? Model Number is FAFW3577KBO.

frigidaire washing machine fabric softner will not dispense out

will not dispense the fabric softner in the washing machine.

Hello - There are several things that could cause the fabric softener to not dispense into the washer. Are you sure the liquid in the dispenser after the wash is fabric softener? If it is fabric softener, the solenoid that lets the water into the dispenser is not working. This solenoid is located on the back of the dispenser. It only gets voltage during the dispense time and fills the fabric softener dispenser with water. The fabric softener dispenser fills while the washer is filling for the rinse cycle.

When the washer begins to fill for the rinse cycle, the fabric softener solenoid is energized and water flows into the fabric softener dispenser cup. When the cup is full the water siphons out and softener and water flow into the tub.

If the liquid in the fabric softener dispenser is pure softener you may need a technician to diagnose and repair the problem. The voltage will have to be tested to the softener solenoid and a volt meter is required.

If the liquid in the fabric softener dispenser is water you probably need to clean the dispenser cup. **** will build up in the siphon tube and stop the liquid from going into the washer tub. The incoming water will dilute the softener and overflow the dispenser cup and run into the tub. The instructions for cleaning the dispenser should be located on page 43 of the use and care guide that came with the washer.

If you don't have the use and care guide these instructions will help. Open the dispenser until it stops. In the left rear corner of the dispenser, there is a release that is labeled push. Press down on the push area and you can slide the dispenser drawer out.

Remove the insert from the bleach and fabric softener compartments. Clean the bottom of the insert and the bleach and fabric softener compartments. Reinstall the insert and put the drawer back inside the washer.

To test the siphon action slowly pour water into the fabric softener compartment. When the water level goes above the maximum line stop pouring. The water should all drain out.

Hope this information proves to be helpful however if it is ineffective please contact a professional to move forward accurately.

Hello Marcee Peterson - Typically error code E41 indicates that washer has detected that the main control board thinks the door switch is open. Try reprogramming the washer by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. If it proves to be ineffective, contact a professional to move forward accurately and properly assist with the repairs.

Good Morning Friend, I am happy to assist you!

I understand your Electrolux washer is getting an error code E58. It could mean a number of issues, but primarily that the motor is overheating or a higher-than-usual motor current caused by other issues. Typically, an experienced technician would remove the belt to check the motor and motor pulley to ensure all is in working order first. Their next step would be to check the tub pulley and tub bearings. Last items they would examine would be the drive motor and speed control board by ohm measurement. Once the tech has ruled out a number of possibilities, he or she can pinpoint the exact problem and the necessary part to fix the issue. Since parts can often be quite costly, I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose your washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.

Hope this helps! - Z
