Frigidaire Affinity ATF7000E Front Load Washer - Page 5 Questions & Answers
Affintity washer lights come on to start then shuts down
Hello Friend, thank you for your inquiry!
Based on the symptoms you are describing, it sounds like your Frigidaire washer may either be experiencing a communication error from the main control board or the timer itself may not be operating correctly. Do you notice a humming noise? If so, then it may be a clogged drainage hose or pump that needs to be cleaned, or it could possibly have another issue with the door lock assembly. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose the washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts. Best regards! - Z

Washer states sensing with a buzz sound?
Hello keisha, thank you for your post!
I understand that your Frigidaire washer is making a buzzing sound until the cancel or start button has been pushed. It sounds like it could be a possible issue within the door either not being fully closed or it could be a defective switch. I would recommend resetting your appliance which can be done by disconnecting power to the appliance for roughly ten minutes. Please comment back if that did not help correct the issue. -Matt
Why does washer won't start because it keeps kicking to pause
Good Afternoon Friend, this is Z. I am happy to assist you!
If your washer continues to PAUSE, it commonly indicates that the door of your washer is not securely latched or the cycle has been interrupted. Try pressing "PAUSE/CANCEL" or "START/PAUSE" once to resume cycle. If these basic troubleshooting tips prove ineffective, try reprogramming your appliance by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is best to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on your washer. If the issue persists, then your washer could possibly have a faulty door latch or experiencing a communication error with the control board. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose your washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts. Best!
Why wont my washer to perform the system clean cycle?
Hello Larry Occhipinti, thank you for your post!
If you are pushing the necessary buttons on your Frigidaire washer to perform a system clean and they are not working, it could be a possible issue within the control panel. I would recommend a reset on your appliance which can be done by disconnecting power from your appliance for roughly ten minutes. If that does not correct the issue, you can run a hot water wash cycle with a cup of bleach inside the tub to clean your appliance out as well. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Washer has e20 code
CLARIFICATION OF THE SIMPLETONS (LIKE ME) OUT THERE... It appears that everyone is correct. The outlet is indeed clogged, resulting in the e20 code. The most likely culprit is the primary reservoir: a black rubber catch found just below the clothes bin. It is mounted to the bin via two hoses - large and small - and secured by hose clamps. The catch is best accessed from the BOTTOM of the washer. That's right - you'll have to lay the washer on its side. I found that RIGHT SIDE DOWN was best. There is a large oval hole in the bottom of the washer; you should be able to see the black rubber catch easily. Detach the larger hose from the bin by loosening the screw-type hose clamp. Then, carefully raise the catch toward you to look inside it (a flashlight helps here). By doing this, you should be able to remove most foreign objects and remove any major clog. It was completely successful for me today... removed my wife's bra pad and several coins which were causing the washer to stop at the initiation of the spin cycle. After re-assembly, I placed the washer upright, connected all the hoses and plug it in... it worked perfectly! I ran it through a couple rinse/spin cycles to remove the remaining lint and minor debris. And, more importantly, I respectfully "urged" the wife to avoid placing such things in the washer in the future! Good luck everyone. This process should only take you about half an hour if you have plenty of space to work, like I did.
I have a washer machine, affinity problem about not spinning in final washer
Good Morning Friend, this is Z. I appreciate your post!
From what you have described, it sounds like your washer cannot properly drain and dispose of the water and detergent solution. Does your washer make a humming noise? If so, the drainage hose/pump may be clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, your appliance may possibly be experiencing an issue with the door lock assembly, faulty pump, timer or control board not communicating correctly. In this case, because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair your washer. Best!
