Washer will drain but not spin

Using a multi meter check for continuity the door switch, which when bad may not allow agitation or spin. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Check the clutch, brake assembly and transmission, one way to check for slipping is to get under the machine after a spin cycle ( this is if u get a lil spin but not much leaving clothes still wet) mix in a spray bottle a lil water and some dish detergent, then spray it on the clutch assembly ( the metal round pc. Connected to the tranny) if it sizzles and steams up then u know its bad and slipping. Another way to check clutch if u get no spin at all? Is to take it out and use ur hand to try and turn the inner spring assembly pushing it around the inside? If its very easy, it BAD should be hard to push by hand. Next check the motor coupler which engages the tub and tranny to the motor. ( if its bad u usually get no wash or spin or very little of either) Next check for a loose, worn or broken belt if belt driven. On some front load models u may need to check the STATOR assembly. The stator is essentially one half of a motor, it interacts with the tub by creating a strong electro-magnet. If the stator burns out the washer won't spin or agitate.

Water will not come in to affinity washer

Good Afternoon friend, thank you for your post!

I understand that water is not entering your Frigidaire Affinity washer. If the washing machine thinks that the door or lid is not closed, the water will not enter the machine. I recommend that you verify that there are not any visible defects with the door latching mechanism. I also recommend that you visually inspect the water inlet hose to make sure that it is not twisted or restricted. Lastly, please verify that the water supply faucet is completely open and not closed. You may want to avoid running water in other areas of your house while the washer fills. If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve your issue, I recommend that you allow a professional to properly diagnose your washer for you in order to avoid purchasing any unnecessary parts. -NS

Error codes on a front load washer

Hello friend, thanks for your post!

From my understanding you would like a list of error codes that apply to your Frigidaire washer. Is there a specific error code you are searching for? I was unable to locate a list of all the codes that would be available within your washer, ATF7000E. With additional information I would be able to assist you further. -Matt

MY WASHER DOES GREAT UNTIL THE SPIN CYCLE, THEN IT

We picked up a Frigidaire Infinity front loading washing machine. After the first load was washed as it was drying the machine started shaking violently and was moving around the room. We tried a few different things: load sizes, spin speeds, trying to make it even, holding it down, we had no luck. We had skipped removing the shipping hardware. Although it does say IMPORTANT, the importance was placed on keeping them for future use, when shipping, so we figured we could just leave them in. WRONG. They are long bolts! Once we removed them the machine purred during the spin cycle like a little kitten.
