Hi. First check if it is detected in device manager. If it's recognized in device manager maybe it is used by other program like Skype or Messenger, so try to exit all programs that may use webcam and than run MSI My Guard Life. If it is not detected in Device Manager do reinstall the drivers. First uninstall all you've installed, than unplug your webcam, install driver and software and then plug it again. . You can see your self then. If the USB Video Device not showing
there then you have to install the cam first.


2. Power On the laptop/PC & after ready your OS for work just put
your Webcam driver disk in DVD/CD RW/ROM. when its open, that
time just select webcam driver and install it as per your operating
system(Vista or XP). So do it, and after finish installation ,restart the

You need to install the driver first....download off the vendors site.
NB = Do nbot plug USB in until driver is installed and PC rebooted.

WEBcams are a throw away items and not worth fixing, if you could get it fixed, the cost is likely be close to a new WEBcam.
To determine if the WEBcam is faulty and not the computer, connect to WEBcam to a different computer to see if it works. You may need to install the WEBcam driver. After testing you can uninstall the WEBcam driver.

You have to install the camera on your PC/laptop. To do that you must follow the link below verbatim.

Please go to run and enter "devmgmt.msc" you will get device manager remove all of the USB driver from the device manager and click on Scan for hardware changes. It will install all of the USB drivers. After that connect the web cam and install the webcam driver
