During all of this use safe electrical practices by having the power cord unplugged. The capacitor could still have a high charge on it so be careful.

Yes you can use a hair dryer but the power should be off so that you don't short it out any more than it already is. Most likely the keypad has been ruined and will need replaced., Once these go bad there is no fix except to replace the keypad.

2. Touch and hold START/ENTER more than 4 seconds.

LOCKED will disappear and two beeps will sound.

It sounds like the magnetron may have either failed or is not being supplied with the extremely high voltage required to run it.

This is a job for a professional but if you are safety clued up, here's instruction.
Make sure the !!!!any capacitors are discharged!!!!! before attempting any sort of repair.
Check the door interlock switches first then the high voltage diode with either an AVO model 8 or moving coil meter on high resistance range for short circuit, (DVM's won't show the fault!), the capacitor can fail and go short circuit, the feed fuse on the primary of the high voltage transformer and then finally, the magnetron is best checked by substitution.

Sounds like a replacement control panel will be required. They do fail and usually are not a serviceable part.
Call an engineer for fitting.

yes there is a fuse behind the control panel area. where the cord goes inside the unit there is a fuse bloack and a 20 amp fuse ...may have lucked out and just need to replace fuse...unfortunately you have to do some disassembly to get to it ...good luck to you

There should be a sticker in the back that quotes this. 40 Watt is the highest you may go but....buy the 130volt brands as this is a higher rating for 120volt and it will not burn out as quick. Make sure it is an appliance bulb. Most hardware stores like ACE have them. Big Walmarts do too but check the package.

Remove the keypad and use a multimeter to test it for continuity. If the keypad is not getting power then it has shorted out because of the excess condensation. Replace the keypad, it will cost around $30 for the part. Click on the link link below to order the part you will need:

You likely have a shorting membrane keypad.

If and when an oven is coming on or doing anything by itself, this is very dangerous and can result in a fire.

So until it is repaired, please leave it unplugged or leave the door open when it's not in use, and of course one should never leave a microwave unattended while cooking.
