According to EveryMac and the serial number you provided (assuming the hard drive has not been replaced in this unit and the original factory shipped Apple drive is still in there): http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook/specs/macbook-core-2-duo-2.0-white-13-mid-2007-specs.html Looks like you have a brand-name 80GB SATA 1.5Gbps 5400RPM 2.5" hard drive in there. If you need to replace the drive, typically any current day 2.5" SATA hard drive or 2.5" SSD will work within the unit. Hope this helps!

Macbook will not hold any charge in the battery

How old is your unit? It sounds as though the battery needs to be replaced. If it is under warranty, then great! If not, a search on google will give you the information you need - ranging from where to get your unit serviced, or if you feel comfortable doing it, where to locate and how to install a new battery. Regards.

Itunes account sign in

Hi Tyler Account Sign in uses your Apple Account Name & Password for your iTunes account at Apple. This has nothing to do with where you keep your music (iTunes Library) Open up iTunes Go to top menu "iTunes" then "Preferences" Click on "Advanced" Cogwheel Icon Take note of where your iTunes Library is currently being stored Write it down. Then check to see if your iTunes Library is located there. Someone may have moved it. The Default location is usually /Users/"Home Folder Name"/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music But.... you can change this to anywhere.... even another external hard drive or memory stick if you want. Good Luck

How do I delete an email from my email box. I received an email from a company that I do business with and receive emails almost everyday pertaining to product special and have never had a problem de

You can do a couple of things: 1) read the bottom of the email. There should be a link to manage subscription. Several companies now offer daily, weekly and monthly choices for number of email per ______ you want from the company. 2) read the bottom of the email and unsubscribe. This will stop all emails... If sender does their job. 3) select one of the messages and click SPAM. Messages will still be delivered to your device but will be moved to the SPAM FOLDER. 4) common step regardless of choice above... Click the email once in list view and then press the delete key on the keyboard. I receive 100's of emails a day and theses steps have helped.

What does flashing globe on white screen on mac meanmacbook pro

If by flashing globe you mean spinning globe (often a colored beach ball), there are several possible reasons. The spinning beach ball happens when a operating system command cannot be completed. The computer is frozen/stuck in a process that it can't complete. Most often the cause is faulty or missing information on the hard drive. Running Disk Utility will often fix it. You may need to start the computer from your OS install disk and rather than install find Disk Utility in the pull down menu and run it on your hard drive. The spinning ball could also be caused by insufficient RAM memory to even run the operating system. It could also be caused by hardware problems which can be diagnosed with the Apple Hardware Test found on the disks sold with the machine. If you truly mean a flashing round globe, I have never seen such a figure. Flashing question marks or flashing circle with a slash through it means the mac cannot find a bootable hard drive. Your hard drive may have died or become corrupted. To see if you hard drive is defective, again run Disk Utility by booting off an install CD or another hard drive with a compatible MacOSX operating system to diagnose. Try running the repair disk program under the general tab of the Disk Utility program.

My iphoto will not open

This is likely a file problem. Either the finder cannot find the app any longer or it is corrupted, or the permissions have been changed. The last is most likely. Try running the Disk Utility program and under the First Aid tab select Repair Disk Permissions and run the program. This should clean up a permissions type of problem. If it does not, you may have to delete the iPhoto program and reinstall it. Be careful to save your pictures first to another area on you hard drive, so they do not get deleted.

What cable is needed to stream Netflix to a Macbook?

If you want to use a TV as a secondary or mirrored monitor. All you would need is a Mini-DVI to HDMI adapter. Use the adapter to connect an HDMI cable between your computer and the TV. Once connected you will have an option to use it as a secondary or mirrored (exact copy of what is on your laptop) monitor. If you have one of the newer macbook pros you need a Mini Display port to HDMI adapter.
